I think we've all discussed this point at one time or another: Basically, Miranda can fix her infertility if she really sets her mind to it. It shouldn't be too hard. She did bring a man back from death after all.
I'm debating how in fanfiction if Shepard and Miranda should have a child. I'm leaning towards yes by a long shot, but I haven't made up my mind about whether they have a single daughter, or twin daughters. I like the idea of both, and am leaning towards the twins, but I still like the only child route.

I forgot, it's pretty gory to many characters and groups, and has a very pro-Cerberus view on it. I'm not afraid to call them out when necessary (which isn't often for me), but yeah, a lot of people are dead.
But the relays (most of them) are intact and the galaxy will recover. With humanity at the forefront.

Ah yes i remember that. If i'm not mistaken, Kelly and Ashely took the worse. Some f-up deaths.
Oh and for me i think a single daughter is better, though twins can work well too.

Actually Tali has the most... horrific death. Ashley does die in a nasty manner though. I'm thinking about giving Kelly a reprieve (I remember I wanted to have her death be reminiscent of Danny Trejo's death in Breaking Bad. But there's nothing against her, and looking back, it was mostly just rule of shock that I was using. I was just killing her to add some drama to the story. Still, it just doesn't feel appropriate that she lives. If it wasn't for the war asset gain she gives, I'd have her die by not telling her to change her identity.
The twins idea would have them being identical except that one has golden blonde hair, the other has dark raven hair. Otherwise, they'd look exactly like their mother. My idea was that they'd each have some amount of their mother and father's personality in them in different aspects. Plus the idea of twins is an intriguing narrative to me.
I like the idea of what I can do with them.
Also, I'm not sure whether or not I'll have Shepard and Miranda get married. I don't see a point to it. Or if they do get married, I'm not going to have Miranda change her name.

I don't really gore any of the characters but I'm willing to wager the fate of a popular character in my timeline can match any of MassivelyEffective's in terms of WTF?
And it's not a character I hate by any stretch.
/cryptic hinting.
As for fucked up faces, never wear a helmet and set it to "off in conversation" in Sanctuary. Or possibly anywhere else.

Marriage and kids? I always liked the idea of Miranda vanishing into the air and balancing an apparently normal life with supersecret science stuff. So the Drs. Collier live on some remote farm world, teaching for him and medicine for her. They have a daughter who they adore and spoil very much. But the basement...ah there's our miniature Cronos Station.

Well, it will be a bit of an unconventional upbringing for the girl(s). She's going to be spoiled, but she's/they're also going to be the progeny of two of the greatest humans who ever lived, and she's/they're getting the best of both worlds with genetics (Miranda will ensure it).
Mom and Dad will be doing things for the rebuilt Cerberus and building the future, but Shepard especially is going to be very present in their lives.

A new lithograph from Bioware:

A shame that Miranda is rather...unimportant in the composition (and Liara right in the middle) but, well at least she is there.

My main Shep has never been bothered about institution of marriage. However i'm of the impression Miranda might be, so if they do get married it'll be her doing the proposing.

She can. Although my Shepard wouldn't be getting down on his knee to do it. He'd ask her up front and be honest with her about it.

No marriage. You can't really marry a nigh mecha-god. But no marriage for his replacement either (which is quite a few years down the road).
A child is born through undisclosed means But Oriana raises her. Circumstances make Miranda dedicate herself to full-time spy master. The daughter's told the truth. There will be some friction but eventually she understands. Even joins the family business. But her destiny will be even more grand.
That's all I can say for the moment.

Wow, look who's front and center. Makes me question who the real hero of the story was...
