Soooo, do or don't exhaust her conversation options?

Do, I want to say.

I did some extensive research trying to answer your question but unfortunately I couldn't find an answer, sorry.

Hope you found a solution.

Thanks, both of you. I'm not there yet, but I'm talking to her about everything after each mission.

I'm playing the series again and it's actually kind of refreshing to see Miranda in action again. I'm not at all looking forward to ME3, but I do want to experience the Citadel DLC again. That DLC (and of course all of Miranda's content therein) makes the rest of the game almost worthwhile.

Spoiler

I've planning on going back to the series as well, I think I'm waiting for the Andromeda's actual reveal at E3 to see if my Mass Effect itch gets scratched enough.
But I don't know if I can make myself go through 1 and 2 knowing 3 is coming after. I guess Citadel might make it worth it, I'm not sure.

Citadel is overrrated. It's a nice antidote against the darkness, but it doesn't counter the nonsense in various parts of the game.

But it is literally the only part of the game I enjoy playing.

I find some of the side missions quite good.

like what?  The only ones that ever stood out to me are the ones that were part of other arcs, like the Rannoch and Tuchunka side missions

Aww, the pic is just fabulous. Thank you.

I love all three games, and what only bothers me regarding ME3 is obviously the lack of Miranda as a companion, and the lack of resolution regarding Shepard. The first I've grown to deal with it, but the last one is just painful considering the game ends in such a downer mood.

I have my canon in my head ready.

Ten thousand years into the future, Control Shepard will remain. And the memory of Miranda will still remain in his databanks.

There is something beautiful about it, I think.

I'm currently replaying the trilogy and I'm still not sure on what I'm going to do with Miranda in ME3, regarding if I let her die or not

let me explain,

while she is my preferred romance for my Shepard, I think her farewell scene before the battle of earth so so SO bad that I actually prefer her death scene and the idea of Shepard sacrificing himself at the end...fulfilling his promise to her of finishing the war. Her death scene is so well done and touching.

her last message to Shepard if she survives Sanctuary ruins their romance for me. I don't even care if there's a slide of her looking at the sky at the end.

BUT, if I let her die I won't have her on the Citadel dlc :(

Couldn't you do the Citadel dlc before her death then?

as far as I know for her to be in the citadel dlc you have to play that after Sanctuary

Oh, hmm. Have you played the Citadel dlc before when romancing her or would this be the first time?

For every character who has their own set of hangout scenes in the citadel DLC, you have to finish their storyline in the base game. So, Sanctuary for Miranda, the stuff with Aralakh Company for Grunt, Grissom Academy for Jack, etc. For those characters that also have miscellaneous side encounters (like Jack on the Citadel after doing the Grissom Academy mission), I would imagine that you have to do those too, but I'm not sure. I only ever play the Citadel DLC after finishing the game and 100% completing everything else, so I would fill all of the criteria by default.

Still utterly hate the family angle rehash in me3. I want her focused on Cerberus and TIM betrayal of everything she'd spent her entire adult life believing Cerberus stood for.

Miranda is an idealist, and her complete change of goals in ME3 is really OOC.

Damn, it's been so long since Miranda featured in ME2. So many good and bad times. The arguments about idealism vs pragmatism, Destroy or Preserve the Base, Chuck, when we all but closed down the Companions forum.

Going to miss this place, met some great people here.

I'll miss it too. This thread isn't as active as it once was, but I have a lot of fond memories back in ME3's heyday b**ching about how ME3 ruined Miranda, or how some fanfics make Miranda look bad or whatever, just because the people here were (usually) cool and regardless of what we thought of the game itself, we all shared a common interest in Miranda herself.

Damn, I just read the news of the forums closing down.

A part of me truly feels crushed. From the excitement and fears before the release of ME3, the hope of the extended cut, the joy of seeing Miranda appear in Citadel to of course the countless debates over the character and David Bowie, the people here were my favourite lads to hang out with.

The one thing I'll never forget is, of course, the fact that we were the drop in the bucket that had an entire section closed. Fun times.....
In the end, I genuinely believe that we were the best commmunity.

Cheers to you all !!!

It was Miranda that actually led to me finding the old BSN soon after ME2 released.

She was and is my favourite companion in a videogame and this is still my favourite place in the forums.
