Besides, her catsuit does have armor plated leggings.

Just...No! Futuristic sci-fi does most definitely *not* equal "anything is possible". Fictional universes are always constrained by their own lore, and violations usually result in internal consistency problems. For instance, see this Codex entry about shields:srjepsen wrote...
[...]and the fact that ME is a futuristic sci-fi rpg, anything's possible[...]
So, here it is: shields *explicitly* do not protect againt environmental hazards. Any rationalization that requires this is thereby proven wrong. BTW, a vacuum (also not protected from since air can pass the shields) usually includes both radiation and extremes of temperature as well the absence of air pressure which would result in (slow) decompression and cooking away of fluids through the eyes. There goes the rationale for the breathing masks.Kinetic barriers are repulsive mass effect fields projected from tiny emitters. These shields safely deflect small objects traveling at rapid velocities. This affords protection from bullets and other dangerous projectiles, but still allows the user to sit down without knocking away their chair.
The shielding afforded by kinetic barriers does not protect against extremes of temperature, toxins, or radiation.

That black version of her default outfit looks pretty cool.
It has a nice sleek look to it.

Is it bad that I hope she's an f/f LI so I will finally make a second Female Shepard just to romance her: Yes/No.

Yes, please turn in your Liara fan club membership card and any uniforms, manuals or other items you may have.
Just kidding. I absolutely hope this happens. I have no doubt Hale and Yvonne would do an amazing job of it.
I was just about to point you to the banner in The Uncanny's sig, then I glanced at the URL and realized it might not be news to you.

I pass no judgement.
But I have to ask: is that Mia Kirshner?

I still think Yvonne Strahovski is about 140% hotter than Miranda though.

IMHO her AAP2 outfit is better cuddling outfit than the other two. You know, the more she wears, the more fun there is in taking them off.

No question, there's barely any resemblence between the two.
I never found in-game Miranda to be all that great looking tbh. My two femsheps look better.

Unfortunately, I am unaware of any such thing. With the cleavage gone and practical shoes this would be acceptable as a combat outfit, right?Seboist wrote...
Are there skins of the catsuit where the cleavage is colored in?

Nothing. She was stepping out of the elevator and bumping into Shepard. This is about three seconds before she invites you to the engine room. [/quote]

I always thought she had kind of a funny expression at that moment, but that shot looks very nice.

I wouldn't go that far but it would be more..... tolerable. If they did that and slapped on an armor vest of some kind then.... maybe.

I feel a little apprehensive about what making Miranda bi will do to her romance, but since this will likely boost the number of Miranda fans I have to give that a tentative No (meaning no it's not bad).Is it bad that I hope she's an f/f LI so I will finally make a second Female Shepard just to romance her: Yes/No.
Much more catastrophic is what this might do to my four femSheps and their ME1/2 romances. I hope we get better friendship options in ME3, or I might up end up romancing Miranda with my femSheps just because it's the only way to get a closer relationship. My femSheps as a rule aren't bi/les except for one, but they do like Miranda.

It could boost fans...yes.
But I do feel that there are also Miranda fans that will still remain fans even if not given an f/f romance (like me). So I guess I don't want you to think 'I need a Miranda f/f romance or I will hate her forever!!!' I personally became attached to the character when romance was not a possibility. But if I were to do a new f/f romance besides Liara it would be with Miranda.

However in general, I don't understand the need to get more people to like her by doing something about it. If they don't like her the way she is in the game, then they can sod off. This is not a presidential campaign.
