@Melrache:
I agree. But this was just a personal feeling I had, not something I could with conviction say shouldn't be part of her. There are things that should never be done with her on grounds of popularity, but this is not one of them.

I desperately want Miranda as f/f. I don't like playing mShep. I do like playing fShep. It's not as if heterosexuality is intrinsic to her character and I like the idea of the sex symbol being available for both.

I will agree and also would like Miranda to be a s/s romance...if only so she can challenge Garrus for my femshep's heart in ME 3, as they were BFFs in ME 2( or atleast the way I rped it they were) as well as the fact that those 3 made up my main or major mission party in ME 2( outisde of Haestrom n the derelect reaper where I took Grunt instead of Garrus).

I am against the idea of having Miranda in a f/f relation. It's stupid to make her suddenly bi. She's already been portrayed as a straight person, there's no reason to just turn her bi. Liara and Likely James vega should be the only bi options, let everyone else retain their sexual orientation.

She hasn't been portrayed as much of anything, actually. We know she is attracted to men, but no indication of her feelings about women. And, unlike Jack and Tali, she never makes advances on MaleShep. Shepard initiates everything, and it's perfectly possible to exhaust her dialogue as a MaleShep without her ever expressing interest. FemShep is artificially restricted from expressing interest. "You never asked" is perfectly valid.

I agree. Although I wanna play as mShepard and fShepard. It would be great if she'll be available for both.
But I'm not sure if BW will fulfill our wish.

However in general, I don't understand the need to get more people to like her by doing something about it. If they don't like her the way she is in the game, then they can sod off. This is not a presidential campaign.

QFT

About Miranda's romance available for femShep :
I will approve this romance only if it's well written and if it's not at the expense of the maleShep/Miri romance. This could also make me play my femShep in ME2 & ME3.

I'm almost positive they won't. I just really want it.

There were times when I thought Miranda was flirting with FemShep, I'm sure I even saw her checking out Shep's boobs.

Yup. I still think it will just be Ashley and Liara... and I'm going to be left swearing and kicking the furniture. Again.

Still, until we know for certain there is always hope...

Never let it be said I only do angst. Behold a quick humorous one-shot. Miranda is not accustomed to being stood up, especially over a Keeper. A sort of proof-of-concept for my current Shep. May write about him more if there's interest.

And now back to the CB story.

Good! Miranda never turned FemShep down in ME2, the subject simply didn't come up. Miri may wait for the other person to make the first move, because said first move or lack thereof could give her a way to gauge a potential match's strength and assertiveness in the romantic arena.

O/T but related to your post, I *definitely* remember Kasumi checking out Shep's boobs on the way to the dinner party

LOL. Shepard's extranet nick.....ROFL.... nice little piece, this. Also I like this Shepard. I wish I could play the in-game version more like that.

What the, we're having a civilized talk about s/s Miranda?

What universe is this?

Nah, everybody just wants to see the romance scene, nothing more. Oh I can only imagine M/F players and S/S complaining how the other gender's romance scene was so much better than theirs. :o

That would mean we have different scenes. I'd gladly risk that complaint!

Here's something interesting for next week:

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/324/index/8093964#8093964

"Next week, BioWare will be in Cologne Germany for Gamescom and we're bringing Mass Effect 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Dragon Age II with us.

The Mass Effect 3 booth will be in the EA section of Hall 6. Come out and play an expanded demo of Mass Effect 3 (yes, similar to the demo played at Comic Con, but now with.... more demo action. I shall say no more.) on both the Xbox 360 or PC as well as different language choice.

Come to the EA Community Lounge Theater on Saturday August 20 at 2:00pm and watch an exclusive Mass Effect 3 presentation with Mass Effect 3 team member Mike Gamble. The EA Community Lounge Theater is in CC North and only seats 80 people. You must be 18+ to attend. Come out and meet Mike Gamble and watch the awesome Mass Effect 3 presentation only available to fans at Gamescom. We will be recording for BioWare Pulse TV for those not in attendance. If you want to ask the team at Gamescom a question, please send it through the Mass Effect feed @masseffect.

I'll also be wandering the convention halls randomly tweeting out my location. Fans who find me will be given some cool swag. I'm always keen to meet our fans, so look for me on the show floor and I'll be happy to talk about Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age and BioWare. smilie

We hope to see you next week at Cologne Germany, or make sure you watch BioWare Pulse for live broadcasts from Gamescom!"
