I've been progressing through my Mirandamancer playthrough I've given my Sheploo black and yellow Cerberus colored armor (like I do all my Sheps) and as an added bonus I decided to give him the Archon Visor so he could resemble Miranda's AAP2 armor more. :P

Only one playthrough with a romanced Miranda? Heretic :P

Since I have no Archon Visor I opt for using the mod that removes the visor from Miranda's AAP2 armor. They are a perfect match in most of my games. I've posted the screenshot often enough that I don't have to repeat it....

Actually, I technically still don't have one Miranda romanced playthrough as I'm still very early in the game and haven't reached the romance dialogue yet.

I should also add that If it wasn't for the Tali and Miranda romances I would have never bothered playing as a male Shep. <3

And anyway, I think Miranda's accent is quite subtle, when you compare it to what it could be.

It's not often that Australian Actors are allowed to use their natural accents, usually Australian actors are forced to use an American accent due to the Film & Game Industries believing that Americans are only capable of relating to other Americans. I prefer to give American viewers more credit then that, unfortunately it's not likely to change within the industry.

On the rare occasion that I do hear an Aussie Accent in a film or video game, it's often a stereotypical impression. Contrary to popular belief, not all Australians speak like Paul Hogan or Steve Irwin. :o

Yeah, but she had really heavy accent when she started on Chuck. Miri's accent compared to that is nothing. I can barely notice it.

When she arrived in LA, she had a heavy accent but she can also talk without it. That's what she does in Chuck.
I think Bioware let her record her lines with her accent, but after some years living in the states, her accent is not as heavy as before.
Anyway, it's not so difficult to notice her accent in the game, especially when she says "Nooeu".

I'm currently doing a Insane playtrough with a Soldier Shep. Finished Garrus and Mordin recruitment mission. I never played a Insane playtrough with a Soldier (only played one time with a Sentinel), what do you guys and girls think are the best squadmates to use? I think Miranda could be the most useful (on most of the missions) due to her biotic and tech skills, and her bonus to squad's health and shields.

Hi there.

Can you guys tell me one thing? I thought this place would be the one to ask.

So, in ME3 we will fight Cerberus. I still hope there will be an option to SIDE with them, cause one of my Sheps wants human dominance in the galaxy. Not important right now.

What bugs me, is that we'll probably oppose TIM. He sits iin his chair staring at this star (that kind of proximity to a star would probably kill him, but its sci-fi so i forgive them), and his location is unknown (but as I remember Hudson or another dev mentioned we will pay a visit to that place).

That's the thing. The location is not unknown at all. When you start ME2 Miranda is talking with TIM and is there. She knows, where TIM has his station. Unless she flew there with a bag on her head. I know, that space travel is a different kind of transportation and Joker could tell Shepard that they just flew pass the CB while being still in the local cluster, but Miranda is presented as a very clever and trusted Cerberus operative (trusted enough to let her see TIM in person! ) so I don't suppose she does not posess the intel.

So, is it gonna be 'TIM pissed me off. Miri, pass the coordinates to Joker' in ME3 or what?

I played my Soldier/Insanity with Miranda and Jacob in most missions, and my Engineer/Insanity with Miranda and Kasumi except on Collector and Blood Pack missions. The only mission I didn't bring Miranda with me was the Quarian Crash Site assignment (Grunt and Zaeed). Gods, that was hard, the hardest assignment on Insanity by far.

Either TIM has several such stations or he can relocate his HQ. My bet's on the latter. After all, a space station can act as a starship if it has mass effect cores installed. Likely the station is smaller than the Destiny Ascension, so size shouldn't be a factor.

Which means, with regular FTL he can relocate by 12 ly per day. I can also imagine there's a mass relay nearby the Council doesn't know about, which Cerberus has secretly activated.

Edit:
What Melrache says below also applies.

I don't think it's that simple. Even if she knows, which I think she does, where the station is I don't think she'd just give it up that easily. Unless she thinks that's the only way to deal with it, the CB may have turned her away from the organization in some playthroughs, but I don't she's hating TIM for it.

Just because our golden boy wants to blast TIM's head off, doesn't mean that Miri will just give up to him, because she might love him. I think there's more to the whole thing than meets the eye. If you ask me, I think TIM will still have his card to play, I think he'll be doing something good, unless he's indoctrinated.

I haven't followed ME3 too much, so I am not sure if Cerberus is out in full force and waging war or if they're just using Reapers as cover to do in precision strikes and retrieving important info/resources for their ultimate goal.

Oh, I didn't think that Jacob was that useful. I thought to use Thane or Jack for the crowd control ability.  I guess I'll try him on Korlus.
Thank you and all the others for your advices.:)

I also think that TIM wouldn't risk Miranda knowing exactly where he is, particularly if she resigns from Cerberus. I also believe that TIM is far smarter than many of BSN give him credit for - I think he will have multiple bases, certain ones known only to certain operatives, I also believe that only he knows who is working for him at the highest level - Miranda may well not know any of the other operatives that are at her level of clearance, and certainly not recognise them when seeing them in passing. Cerberus is a cell-organisation, TIM would not recklessly risk giving any operative enough information to bring Cerberus down or give authorities a good lead for his capture.

Although the Illusive Man might well show his face, and meet some operatives in person, I believe he keeps his secrets as close to his chest as the Shadow Broker.

Probably better. TIM got intel on SB location. And he still has. Did Shadow Broker have intel on TIM location? Probably, but we don't know for sure.

After all, with SB connection network and all the double agents stuff, it won't be such a problem to locate TIM.

@hhh89:
Jacob is the only team member with Incendiary Ammo except Grunt. That's by far the best ammo power in the game (max it out early). Plus, Miranda and Jacob can set up warp explosions. Bring down the defenses of one enemy, let Jacob do his Pull and Miranda her Warp, and that will do significant damage to a group of enemies.

Miranda and Jacob is one of best squadmate combinations in the game.

again for those post/discussions a couple of pages back on Mirandas VA:

I asked Casey Hudson at Comic Con if Yvonne Strahovski will be back in ME3 and he said "Yes she'll be back."

I think Bioware let her record her lines with her accent, but after some years living in the states, her accent is not as heavy as before.
Anyway, it's not so difficult to notice her accent in the game, especially when she says "Nooeu".

She mentions her accent in this interview. It's a shame that most Australian & British actors often aren't able to perform with their natural accents. I still don't believe that accents have a significant influence on a viewers ability to relate to a character.

Accents can carry stereotypes. Can you imagine Miranda speaking, well, British English (I won't call that an accent because it's the original)? It think she would be perceived in a subtly different way, and some people might be put off, others more attracted.

It depends of the character. In Chuck her character is not supposed to be Australian.
In Mass Effect, we only know that Miranda grew up on Earth, but not where exactly. So her accent is not a problem, and those who recognize it can suppose that she spent her childhood in Australia.
