I would love that scenario. Though I guess it would have squick potential for some people, since technically, any other daughter would still be a sister to Miranda.Spanky Magoo wrote...
Maybe when they find Mirandas father (if that plays a role in the game) after he been delt with however it plays out they find another daughter he was groing and then they take it and raise it as thier own. idk just throwing stuff out there and seeing what sticks, That to me though seems kind of poetic.

I also like this idea. Would definitely be interesting to see. Also, maybe they can add a paragon and renegade choice to this. The Renegade choice would be to tell Miranda to kill it and paragon choice would be to tell Miranda to save it and maybe the romance choice would be for Miranda and Shepard to raise her (or maybe him) together.

She'd be blood related to Miri, so that's like.. half good. I am not big fan of adoption, but as I said. Could've been worse.

So the child will grow up to be the spitting image of her adoptive mother. Certainly unusual, but not unheard of in families that don't adopt. I wouldn't make too much of it.Filuto wrote...

Help a ficcer out? I'm mulling over something set in her university days, where she's getting her first taste of the galaxy at large after being locked in her father's gilded cage. Just how sheltered should she be.

Depends. She did, after all, manage to escape from her father, so she won't be a stranger to intrigue and conflict. She won't be naive, and because of those "impossible demands" of her childhood she won't be completely ignorant of the universe at large. On the other hand, the direct experience of a majority of non-humans - I imagine you'd put her on a non-human world - would possiblty be overwhelming. A culture shock, so to speak. But not more than that.jtav wrote...

Definite culture shock and Miranda is determined to experience everything she can that was denied her and is even mire tactless at 17, and more emotional.

And about a location for jtav fic, have you considerated Elysium?. Nearly half of its inhabitants are aliens, and it looks like is one of the most developed human colonies.

Thessia, actually. University of Serrice. She meets up with Liara quite a bit early.
From what the codex and Bioware's N7 Ops has to say about Thessia, it's pretty uncommon for non-asari visitors to even get on to the planet. Needless to say that Miranda would stick out quite a bit more than she already does in human populations. There's also the whole food and water being tainted with trace amounts of Element Zero too, but that's another subject.

I've been thinking about this since before the Ops showed up. Not changing it now.
It would make some sense that the University of Serrice had non-asari students among it's population what with it being an academic institution. Given that it takes considerable political clout to even visit Thessia, getting into a university there would probably be on par with getting into an Ivy-league school in the ME universe.

Well anyway kinda disappointed no Miri info (or anyone else new for that matter) But I digress, I thought that Miranda having already looked out for oriana would not be opposed to raising one of her sisters as her own. It seems kind of cheesy but less so than a miracle pregnancy but seriously I would want this to take place after the reaper threat has been seen to. A character/romance epilouge of sorts, different for each of the romances would be a great way to end the series for me but this is just wishful thinking and im going to stop now so I dont get to worked up when it doesnt happen lol.

That should be no problem for Miranda. A more pressing problem is that she wouldn't be exactly inconspicuous there.Dr. Doctor wrote...

Aren't you heading to Gamescom? You could always ask the developers there, perhaps while waiting to try the demo?
