That's what I said Prudii. Having Kaidan and Liara around isn't trivial, and I'm really looking forward to going to Thessia and Sur'Kesh, but I'll miss Miranda.

ME2 exclusive squadmates are more part of the story in ME3 than in ME2? And after the flak Bioware got form ME2 spoilers in their marketing I wouldn't be surprised they are holding back due to this.

We still have many more months left you know.

Mhm.. Well, I don't honestly mind Zaeed, sure talks bit like Jack and he's bit crazy. But at least he works with the team and doesn't moan about it. And Jacob... Eee.. He's alright, bit boring but alright. His fling with Miranda was bit ''Eh'' for first few playthroughs, but Miri must've been desperate back then, if she hanged around with someone like him. *Shrugs*

Not that Shepard is any less so, but yeah... He's got some reputation, at least.

I wanted to have a realistic SM with many casualties. And I managed to do this without making real stupid decisions during the SM.
Jack, Tali and Garrus were an obvious choice for this playthrough, and I wanted 2 more casualties, so I picked the two remaining squadmates I like the least.

My dream squad for ME3 : Miranda, Kaidan, Thane, Legion, Kasumi, Samara or Liara, Grunt or Wrex

It is outright eerie how much we agree, jtav. I would add Ashley as an alternative to Kaidan in about half of my games, but that's about it.

No.
Zaeed, Tali, Jack, Garrus and Jacob were not loyal. Jack and Zaeed were already unloyal, and my Shepard didn't have time to do Tali, Garrus and Jacob loyalty missions before the Omega 4 relay jump.

1st team leader : Miranda
Tali in the vents -> dead (unloyal)
2nd Team leader : Garrus -> dead (unloyal)
Biotic : Miranda
Jack -> dead (swarms)
Escort : Zaeed -> dead (unloyal)
Final team : Miranda and Jacob
Jacob -> dead (unloyal)

Kind of reminds me of my first play through actually lol. I had no idea that that you had to completely upgrade the Normandy and have everyone loyal to you to achieve the best possible SM

This, I like Grunt, but I can't even compare him with Wrex.
Anyway, my idead squad (considering that Wrex can't be in a squad due its role as the Krogan leader) should be composed, in order of preference, by Legion, Miranda, Mordin. Garrus, Kaidan and Liara. Though I'd be fine without Garrus if Bioware decided to make him a Spectre.

No.

I just finished the SM the other night. For the first time, I had casualties; jack and zaeed. The only downside was that since zaeed was loyal, I had to use him as the leader of the 2nd team after I saved the crew. :/ I had Miri as the 2nd leader at the beginning of the SM. She was amazing.

I thought I'd give the casualty thing a try, but to be honest, people dying didn't feel good now that I think about it. Even if jack and zaeed died, now that I think about it, I'm starting to feel uncomfortable with it.

I guess it just appeared to be too depressing. So I guess I'll go back to 100% Survival. It can still be natural. That would mean that I'm a good leader. And that my team is strong and not to be ****ed with.

I'll compromise and say they are both equally interesting. Actually all of the squadmembers are of equal interest to me. Except Garrus (stupid calibrations). And Kaidan. 

It was just my opinion 

I really don't understand all the hate about Kaidan, I really like this character (well maybe less in ME3 if he is the reason why I can't have Miranda in my squad)
