It starts in 7 minutes FYI
And yes you can watch @ BiowareTV link from the Mass Effect site.

ooooh, thanks.  Although, I don't have a twitter account.  I wonder if they will even talk about ANYTHING Miranda... :crying:

I started playing me1 last night and found a mission I haven't done before. Getting my Liara exclusive romance to import to the Mass Effect 2 pc version. :o  It will be interesting to see if I can resist Miranda's romance. Probably not but will try. :D

I wonder if we'll finally meet Miranda's father?  Hey, there's a question... doubt they will answer it. I'd be shocked if they do.

It happened to me yesterday too, with both Explorer and Firefox. Today it works, but only if I go from the mass effect 3 site. If I google bioware tv and  I go to the link, I can't see it. the same with the ea link that are being posted in this days.

it's fine now on firefox too if I go from the me3 site to bioware tv. Just to satisfy my curiosity, could you try to googe "bioware tv"and go to the first link and see if it works? It works for me if I went from the me3 site, but not if I went from the bioware main site or ea site.

I'm using Opera as well, the latest version 11.50, and I can always see the stream but it never goes past buffering, meh it's not like QA sessions give us anything important or new anyway.

If I see one more question about Tali's face or if they can marry Tali... I swear I'll get physical :P Stop wasting good question opportunities! Ask something new please.

Hoping for few Miri questions to get through.

Wasn't there one that got through? I missed part of it, only caught the:

"don't worry we will treat her right along with the other ME2 squadmates in ME3"

So long as it's not squadmates and it's just major NPCs, I'm okay with this.

I extrememly approve of this thread.

My answers to the questions:
Squadmate, ALL THE TIME!!!

How she spent time between the game: See, I don't think it makes much sense that she just disappears between games. In my playthrough, she was my romance, she was loyal, she went on every mission with me, she resigned from Cerberus because I decided to destroy the Collector base, and after all that, she just goes her separate way? Cerberus was her whole entire life, and she gave that up in a split second for Shepard's decisions. That has so much love and respect in it, that it would be completely stupid for her to just leave, and be reduced to a minor character.

As per the Cerberus involvement: it can be different. Like I said, she resigned for Shep, so therefore she would be against Cerberus' intentions to try and kill Shepard, which could ultimately lead to her going after The Illusive Man, and eventually taking over and refining Cerberus, but the only problem is that the Shadow Broker is the most likely person to take over for Jack (TIM) when he dies.

Romance? It better be HOT, and it has to be meaningful if she is a romance option (which she better be). If you read the files in the Shadow Broker's base, you see that she is one for casual sex (of course she was trying to get pregnant, but it still had no emotional involvement). She is a kind of woman not willing to give her heart easily, or at all, and since Shepard broke through those walls, there is going to be some hardcore tension if they aren't together, or just pure, heart-crushing romance for them, knowing what they face with the Reapers.

Let's just break these down into points:

[1] She didn't resign because she was loyal, because she'll still resign if you didn't do her LM and take her with you to the final boss and decide to destroy the collectors' base.

[2] She didn't resign because of her love for Shepard, she does this even if you don't romance her, and this is considered by many here (including me) as an OOC moment because there was not enough character development to justify such a big shift in her character and there are playthroughs where she was romanced and loyal and still didn't resign so I think this 'might' be made canon by some other event prior to or during ME3.

[3] The thought of her becoming "The Illusive Woman" is one of the multiple paths her character can take, I'd like it if she ended up taking over Cerberus, and then make a new organization out of it, one that is still pro-human, privately funded but still has some lines that won't be crossed unless extremely necessary.

That said, welcome to the Miranda thread :)

I understand that she didn't do this FOR Shepard, that's just how it is portrayed to me if you romance her. My conclusions are from the story I developed, and though it might seem OOC, it is understandable that seeing your race being broken down into nothing more than grey biological waste to be fed into the Reaper is something you want nothing to do with. Having her act as such had her speaking from her own mind, and not the mind that believes everything Cerberus does, is the right thing.

And thank you. :D

Hey, your team can't always be perfect. Gotta have some tension here and there. Makes things more exciting.

Miranda is pragmatic, she should have eventually reached the same conclusion as Mordin and Legion, the base has no moral value, it's just technology and any tech can be repurposed and used for the better, compare the Miranda who resigned from Cerberus with the one who killed Wilson, the one who admitted experminting on Rachni despite knowning they're a sentient race.

That's not one who would choke on such desicion and say "using anything from this base sounds like a betrayal".

Hmm, you make a very valid point. I wonder if the game producers will make any attempts to fill that hole for those who have thought through the situation so thoroughly.
