Sounds like you'll be find then, as far as Miri is concerned.
As for the rest, don't sweat the small stuff, it still sounds like you'll have a positive experience.
Even with jack out of the picture?

I wonder what Miranda's "best outcome" will be and how it will be achieved? I'm also very optimistic on her squadmate chances, though I don't expect to hear anything for several months. (Optimism from me? The end is nigh?)

Even if ONE person dies or is not loyal. it could lead to unfortunate events in ME3. >____<
It's driving me crazy. >____<
*sigh*........On the other hand, everyone loyal and alive would probably lead to fortunate events in ME3. 100% survival makes me feel like a Hero in ME2.
....but when you resolve the conflict between Miri and jack.... you tell them to not let their personal feelings get in the way. I'm afraid that saying this would make me feel like a hypocrite because of the feelings I have for Miri.
Could someone help.
Is what Shepard says to resolve the conflict ONLY toward their dislike for each other? Or is it for other feelings as well?

If you lose Miranda's loyalty here, the romance gets closed off. So either side with Miranda or use one of the persuasion options. Use your own interpretation of what Shepard says.
I wasn't talking about losing Miri's loyalty. I would NEVER. She is MY LI.
I'm talking about losing jack's loyalty or resolving.

Think about it this way, sometimes love isn't all about saying sweet things and romance. Sometimes love is about preventing someone you love from making a bad mistake. As much as we all <3 Miranda she is effectively the XO of the Normandy in ME2 and she should know better than starting a fight with a powerful biotic that could end up possibly causing a hull breach. So, by breaking up the fight between Miranda and Jack Shepard is stopping Miranda from making a mistake that could jeopardize the lives of the rest of his crew. With a high enough Para/Rene score you can break up the fight without damaging loyalty and know that your are expressing your love for Miranda by preventing her from making a big mistake.

I know that. I did that all the time. I just don't want to feel like a hypocrite. Because I resolve the conversation by telling then to put their personal feelings aside. Yet I <3<3<3<3 Miri.

How can you be a hypocrite ? you tell Jack and Miri to stay away from each other so their dislike don't come in the way of the mission

I think that after you break up the fight with a Para/Rene response Miri actually thanks you for stepping in right? She realizes that she let things get out of hand with Jack and she knows that Shepard's intervention wasn't a negative reflection on her. So, I don't really think you have to feel hypocritical about making that call. What would Miranda do if Shepard was fighting with Jack? Probably either the same thing or she could be even harsher than Shepard is.

I agree MIranda is going play an important part, especially now that she quit Cerberus and probably has some unfinished business with the Illusive Manjtav wrote...
40% of our enemies are Cerberus. They're a huge part of the game. Miranda is connected to Cerberus. Therefore she has a strong connection to major plot thread and a large role is justified. Am I 100% certain? No. But I'm confident.

It was ONLY the feelings Miri and jack have against each other that were told to be put aside?
It didn't have anything to do with other feelings like the Romantic Connection growing between Miri and I?

She will have a signifigant role in the game given her connection to Cerberus, the question is will her role = permenant squadmate? And if she will be a permenant part of the crew when will Shepard get to meet her in the game? A quarter of the way through? Halfway through?

If you have a save (prior to actually entering the Omega 4 relay).
Try this.
1. Take Jack with you, as one of your squaddies during the Oculus fight (giant sphere in the cargo hold).
This will keep her safe until you reach the base.
2. Take Jack as one of your crew during both fights through the base. (make sure you use Samara for biotic bubble).
3. Use Jacob/Mordin to escort Dr. Chakwas & the rest of the crew.
4. For the final fight, take Miri & Tali.
If I'm right, Jack should have a high chance of survival with both Garrus & Grunt in the remaining squad. (that you don't take to the final boss fight)
Just make sure you keep that save, in case I'm wrong.
I'm going off memory here, but I did have an earlier playthrough with a disloyal Jack & still kept everyone alive. (I think this is how I did it)

I don't think so. Just because Shepard and Miri are in the process of developing a relationship when this encounter occurs doesn't change the fact that Shepard is responsible for the welfare of the whole ship and its crew. And Miri knows this as much as Shepard does. You making a call to break up a fight is in no way a slight against Miranda. Shepard realizes he needs to step in and if your Para/Rene score is high enough he can do that without picking one crew member over the other. Group dynamics sometimes require an overt show of equality like this. The fact that Miri thanks you for stepping in after Jack leaves confirms she understands you aren't coming down on her.
