Take Mike Gamble's "She will have a large role" and add Mac Walters' "I just finished reviewing several scenes with her" and another tweet where he mentioned having just finished first-pass writing for another scene.
Really, everything's heading the right way. We have confirmed she'll be important, and it's likely we'll get enough interaction. The only thing we don't know is about the squadmate status and all the things attached like mission comments and squad banter.
Edit:
jtav, that appears very likely to me.

We can reasonably expect Miranda will not be in the background.

Not to mention John Riccitiello's slip in this interview which a lot of people seem to dismiss, I for one think there's more to it.

I'd say all romances will have major roles.

OK people, good news. I'm just back from attending the Mass Effect 3 panel on GamesCom.
Mike Gamble said that Miranda "will have a large role" in Mass Effect 3, but refused to say anything about her being a squadmate or not.

For those who don't know who is Patryk, he's the artist who won the fanart contest during comic con and he's now woking for Bioware.
He's also responsible for these amazing Miranda art :

He's talking about his Miranda art during the interview.

I also heared that Miri will have some "unfinished business" with Shepard. I like the sound of that.
That was apparently asked at the open Q&A. Also from the same event: Legion will return with a larger role in ME3.

Didn't they say the same about Tali? Another possible good sign.
And it can't be romance because not everyone romanced her. My guess is Cerberus/Lazarus.

Well the fate of the Geth does depend on whether you upload the virus or not.

Not everyone has the potential. Liara and Miranda are really the only characters with the potential for having an impact on the big picture on their own, to a lesser extent also Tali and Legion. Other romanceable characters might have the same amount of interaction, but I think most of them will have a local impact or just be on Shepard's team - take Ashley and Garrus, for instance. Jack and Thane I find particularly hard to speculate about.RAF1940 wrote...

Me too. Two of my three favourite ME3 squadmate will return with a larger role (Miranda and Legion). I wish that the Sur'kesh part is enough large, so that Mordin will have adeguate space too.
About Mordin, who do you think will be take his place on the Normandy in ME3?
