I think that's probably because most everything about Miranda is a mystery or up to interpretation, so therefore, we have bunches to talk about. But I'm glad you enjoy being here.

 

Well you kinda don't look  at crazy when I say I like all three ..


Honestly I  would  like  to see the Friendship/Rivilary system in the  Mass  Effect that they used in  DA 2 because that was great and the some of the  banter between  Aveline and Isabella  had me almost in tears.

I know, right? I'm a big fan of paragon, but I couldn't resist this cutscene, so I created a renegade character, and now I'm just going about, being a huge a-hole to everyone for a 5 second scene where I kiss Miranda.

It was totally worth it. XD

YEah same Here I'm a paragon  as well but I do make some renegade  choice from time to  time like the Krogan on Mordin loyality Mission and the Merc on Miranda....

But hey....you do know that you can pick Renegade options even if you're mostly Paragon? The paths aren't meant to constrain you overmuch, except with persuasion.

Paragon doesn't mean always right and Renegade always wrong. I really like the Renegade interrupts, I generally prefer them to the Paragon. And in Miranda's romance, I prefer a lot the two Renegade options to the Paragon.

No I totally know, but I feel like my Shep was such a nice guy the rest of the time, I don't wanna be like "Haha! You're jealous! I'm gonna kiss you now 'kay?"

And then there are people like me who are Renegades out of sheer spite. Miranda is the nearest thing to a Renegade romance anyway, since Renegade options cost you Tali and Jack.

Mike Gamble said that Miranda "will have a large role" in Mass Effect 3, but refused to say anything about her being a squadmate or not.

Usually the ONLY Renegade options i'll choose are the Batarian during Garrus's recruitment mission, i love stabbing him in the face, and sometimes the Krogan during Mordin's LM...I mean, they give you like 30 minutes to choose the Renegade option, and Shep is practically STARING at the "Flammable" logo. How can you not pick that?

Have always been really tempted to shove that guy out the window though, one day i'll do a full Renegade playthrough, but i always feel like such a jerk (even though that's the point lol).

I love the hugging. I would do the kiss option, but I don't feel comfirtable accusing Miri of being jealous. It makes you sound like a douche bag. 

And it doesn't match how touching the next conversation (which is the one that culminates the Romnce with Miri) is, especially when you say "I care about you Miranda. And I think you care about me" and when you either promise or hug her.

I thought I would feel like a jerk too (which I do if I play renegade options with my Paragon Shep), but it really is a bunch of fun. Tasering people, blowing people up, punching them repeatedly in the face, it's a great time. XD

@MACharlie. Yes, yes it is. XD But it's the thought that counts, and the "Stop smiling, damn it," afterwards.

I did. I originally got ME2 for the PS3. I loved it so much that I saved up to buy a 360 so I could play the entire trilogy. I like ME1 almost as much (the lack of Miranda prevents it from being completely equal). Last weekend I also bought both DA games (though I've only played part-way through DA:O so far and have gotten stuck).

Woot! 400 pages! Just need a little over 200 more to equal the old thread.

I always use the "awesome button" when it appears on the screen. Can't help it.

Shepard: "Experimenting on humans is wrong! Stuff like that starts to make Cerberus seem like a good idea."

Miranda: "That will be going in my report..."

I started with the 1st, then moved on to the second. I was hooked the first time I saw the Loyalist trailer.

I prefer Paragon for most of the big choices, but I dabble in Renegade. For the interrupts, especially. Those are often pretty damn awesome.

For Miranda's romance, I like both the Paragon and Renegade versions quite a bit.

Like I stated the conflict is not the problem its how they used that conflict that is problem.

I see what you're saying, though I don't think I agree 100%. It doesn't strike me as a gratuitous way of creating conflict between the two romance options: there's an underlying issue there, which is the nature of the Cerberus organisation, as well as important character material for Miranda.

We actually learn a lot about Miranda in that scene.

No, it doesn't. He's challenging her and not being completely serious about it. He wants to draw her out. I find it particularaly funny when she replies "it's not a competition" when that's exactly what it is, though on another level than she meant. The exchange always makes me smile.

Not so funny when you realize what a hypocrite Shepard is here. Criticizing experiments on humans and then saying Cerberus, of all things, seems like a good idea....

As for Paragon and Renegade choices, my canonical choices are
(1) Save the Rachni queen
(2) Keep Feros viable
(4) Keep the Collector base.

All others I mix and match according to how i envision my Shepard, but these I almost always take. It's representative. Most of my Shepards end up Paragade or Neutral, though lately I'm playing more Renegade-ish ones.
