How did you make the hair black?
I darkened the overall picture so her hair wouldn't look super out of place, then I selected the top half of the picture, adjusted the saturation so it was at 0 (no color) and darkened the lightness to a point where her hair was black, but didn't look painted. Then I erased everything over the original picture except her hair, so her skin tone wasn't touched. Then I continued to tweak mindlessly here and there.

What makes it likely? I think its pretty unlikely, knowing what TIM knows about Reaper indoctrination, that he would allow the person being brought back to fight them to be implanted with this dangerous tech. I mean if they pop up and start talking about "We are the harbinger of your salvation" kind of defeats the purpose of bringing them back.
Given Cerberus' track record, I don't think that they'd think about the ramifications of using Reaper tech until after something bad happens.

Well, there is a certain arrogance about the man. A certain hubris, one might even say. So, he would do it thinking the technology could be mastered. And he might be right, but perhaps only to a point. Clearly, he sees Reaper tech as potentially the way to defeat the Reapers (Collector Base decision, dead Reaper husk), and there is even a certain logic to that notion.

Or could you make the image just read 'Bringing you tomorrow's problems today." since I feel everything they do just causes problems not just their science. lol

OK people, good news. I'm just back from attending the Mass Effect 3 panel on GamesCom.
Mike Gamble said that Miranda "will have a large role" in Mass Effect 3, but refused to say anything about her being a squadmate or not.
Now we are talking....

Well there is one thing to play with their left behind toys, is another to make a person with them and then send them on their way, like any other outcome other than complete disaster is possible. That's not hubris, that's stupidity. Making Thorian Creepers that run amok and kill scientist, whatever, their replaceable. Making someone who is suppose to save the galaxy from the Reapers, a Reaper agent, I don't think he's that dumb. That would be face-sun.flemm wrote...

I have some Sheps who saved the Collector base, but canonically, I think it's a terrible idea.

Shepard as ticking time bomb could be an interesting plot twist but the whole concept of Cerberus Science striking out yet again just bugs me.
I mean we've had the Creepers, Husks, Rachni, Project Overlord, Pragia, the whole thing with Grayson, among other projects that blew up in Cerberus' face. Can't one thing just simply work for a change?
I would prefer that what Cerberus did with Shepard works, yes. The scenario I envisioned assumes that Shepard might become indoctrinated because he's spent too much time near Reaper devices, not because some Reaper device in him malfunctions. In fact, I would prefer it if there was no Reaper technology in Shepard at all, and that Lazarus was an achievement of human scientists without any help from hyper-advanved alien technology.
@nitefyre:
Yes, I hate the infertility as well. I have put together several reasons why it should be reversible or circumventable rather easily. Refer to the Miranda Lawson FAQ. It's a little outdated now with the new information about ME3, but the reasoning about the infertility stands.
I have to agree with this. No Miranda indoctrination! I don't think it will happen, but Miranda is an obvious target plot-wise, especially if TIM has learned the technology and uses it to acquire more followers.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...
I do not want to see Miri indoctrinated at all! That's madness and torture for a Mirimancer/Mirimaniac like myself.[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/sad.png[/smilie]LexieTheT-Rexy wrote...

Why would you think that? I hope you're right, but I can't see a reason to say is relatively safe but not the others.jtav wrote...
I think Miranda is relatively safe from being indoctrinated. VS and Liara not so much.

Won't happen. At least it will be an avoidable option. Recall how Casey Hudson answered to a question about romance conclusions? "We have pretty much everything covered". If "everything" doesn't cover the most-wanted scenarios where Shepard and his/her LI survive, I'd be extremely surprised.hhh89 wrote...
I really hope not. I have a brother who'll play ME3, he'll be pissed if I break the CD.Mr Plow wrote...
oh God - if it's something like Shepard has Reaper tech in him and the only way to stop the Reapers is that Shepard has to interface/join with the Reaper Failsafe Device and sacrifice himself
