Can we get back on topic before a mod takes action?

Are there any particular Shepards you don't think suit Miranda. I have a Paragon Boy Scout, and I think I might be able to romance someone else for a change.

I am thinking if Cerberus is working for the Reapers, maybe TIM got indoctrinated some how. As Cerberus takes orders from him, they will be taking orders from the Reapers.
And Yvonne Strahovski will probably return in ME3, well almost everyone returned from ME1 to ME2 along with their voice actors(even the smallest casts) which must mean they have long term contracts and so definitly a major cast like Yvonne Strahovski will return as Miranda.

I'm almost a pure renegade shep every playthrough and it seems to fit to me. if I'm not mistaken, Miranda is the only character you can renegade romance. +6 renegade for the conversation where you pick her up. it fits the engine room thing better too, because before this Miri seems to have been straight up, clean medical records, meet me here, no flirting. Shep is the first time pasion played a role.

Man that seriously bugged me. Why the hell did Miranda choose the engine room right where Tali works while both sheps room and her room are much better? Not to mention that place is visible from 4 levels of the ship! Its the main reason I stopped romancing her.

It's not visible to the other decks. I checked. But I do think it was a lousy thing to do to Tali and inappropriate in the context of the crew abduction.

eh, I don't think tali was there. she did say she cleared the engne room. still it did look pretty uncomfortable. Having Miri like that probably made up for the uncomfortable factor of cold textured metal decks though. lol

I have a Renegon Earthborn who clashes with her pretty bad. For example, he rolls his eyes at her complaining about her childhood -- he grew up on the streets, while she was rich, so what if she had a demanding father. At least she had a father and some security. He also isn't a fan of Cerberus (Akuze). And to top it off, I had him Paragon romance Jack.

I prefer the scene if you reject her. You can tell she's planning to rip his clothes off at the earliest opportunity.

What is it with this romance and fantastic rejection scenes?

It wasn't completely private....Kasumi knows about the rendevous.  But, she knows pretty much everything that happens on the ship so I guess it can be forgiven. 

Seriously, if you really were Shepard could you honestly say you would object to hooking up with Miranda in the Engineering room?  I would go pretty much anywhere she wanted.

I've never seen the rejection scene, and I don't want to. I bet it's awful. 

There's most likely NO romance scene at all.

The dialogue irks me more than anything, so I always ask her to wait till after the mission.

I just imagine after the SM, Shepard takes his crew to Illium or something for a nice celebration party with the left over credits. Miranda and Shepard then slip off to a nice hotel or something, order some room service dinner, you know the cliche-cheesy hotel romance stuff. I'm a sucker for it :/. The two spend a nice night together. And head back to the Normandy the next morning.

Actually "Damn it--you're right" leads to a very good and romantic scene:

Shepard lowers his head and shifts around.

Shepard: This isn't the time to be getting involved, is it?

Miranda lifts her head to look at Shepard.

Miranda: No. I don't think it is.

Miranda stands up moves closer to Shepard.

Shepard: Maybe someday, after we save the galaxy?

Miranda and Shepard lightly grip each other's hands. Miranda smiles...

Miranda: Let's see how it goes. Until then... friends?

Shepard nods and Miranda walks back to her desk.
