Are you telling me that they now have a video of the closed Q&A? Because that's the only place where that was said.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...
Well I just saw the Gamescom vid from the link on the previous pages. I feel even more optimistic after hearing the Romance mentioned, though it wasn't in better detail or more specific.
The best one by far was being informed that Miri will have a large role in ME3.

Off-topic could there be a chance of Miranda becoming the new leader of Cerberus and overthrowing TIM in the new game? if TIM turns out to be the son of a **** most think he is then- it would good to have someone Shepard can trust in charge instead yes? what do you think?

It's perhaps a slightly predictable turn of events, but it's possible. And it could be pretty cool.
Arguments or evidence in its favor (that I can think of on the spot):
ME3 seems to be largely about recruiting allied races/factions to build an army to fight the Reapers (rather than building a squad and individual loyalty). So, Cerberus controlled by Miranda would be one of those allies.
Like Tali/Legion, the Jack/Miranda confrontation in ME2 seems to be a set-up for events in ME3. So, you might be faced with a choice to either support Jack (and destroy Cerberus entirely) or support Miranda, who would then take control of it.
Miranda is dead in some games, so the fallback position here is that you simply don't have the option of "converting" Cerberus to your cause if she did not survive the suicide mission.
We know Cerberus is a major antagonist in the game, and logically Miranda is going to be a big part of that plotline (at least).

I think it's just generic developer-speak for "some stuff will happen," so not really more informative that simply stating that she will be in the game. But, yeah, probably more stuff if you romanced her in ME2.
It's not just a supposition, they announced more "unfinished business" for romanced Miranda during the Q&A.Too bad the replay video of the Q&A doesn't work, I would like to quote the exact phrase.

I believe the phrase, as quoted, was she would have unfinished business with Shepard, "especially if you romanced her," or something to that effect.

LOL. This is one of the first speculations that came up here about Miranda's future role. Some here think that could very well happen, that after defeating TIM, we might have the chance to let Miranda take over - or dismantle the organization completely. The Everchosen of Chaos wrote...

I really like that idea. Some here don't, as always - for them, the name "Cerberus" is tainted beyond recovery.
Edit:
The phrasing was "Miranda has unfinished business with Miranda, especially if you romanced her". I'm wracking my brain about what that could be. I can imagine things about the romance and things about something else, but not about something that would be important, but have extra significance if romanced. Maybe it's about Lazarus.

My ideal outcome is for my femshep(s) to rule over the organization alongside TIM or in the case of the unthinkable where he dies carry on the legacy of their beloved in honor of his memory....

It could be two different things, really. But, yeah, Lazurus is a possibility.

Ieldra, I think it's dev speak for "you'll have additional content if romanced."
That would make sense, those who romanced Miranda are probably the ones who would want even more content. Also the fact that if you romanced her she'll have "unfinished business" to take care of fits her personality.
Miranda is reluctant to ask for Shepard's help on her loyalty mission because she considers it her personal responsibility to keep Oriana safe. Later on if you have Miranda's loyalty and didn't romance her she remarks that it has been an honor serving along side Shepard. An non-romance Miranda appears to respect Shepard, but as far as relations go their still CO and XO, not friends.

Not that "unfinished business" needs to mean anything specific but, if it does and is romance related, then it's probably somewhere in those personal communications we get a glimpse of.

I hope Miri mentions wanting to have a child in ME3.
I hope she doesn't unless Shepard says something like that first. I don't want to force something like that on people, who dont want it.

Not forcing. More like letting it out. While she's saying how she truly feels about you. Being part of the romance scenes.

Same. I really wouldn't want that foisted on me, thanks.
There is quite enough to get through during ME3 without having that to deal with all of that anyway.
