I am sure Bioware is going to use "tear-jerking" devices to make you cry and they've even said YOU WILL CRY in Mass Effect 3!

(they have used "family unit" as that device in dragon age 2... I did cry.)

I suspect they will use your crew mates to do just that. I just hope Miranda is okay. :)

What he said about Shepard and Reapers coming to a 'conclusion' sort of tipped me off. Sounds...unheartening, so I do hope Miri is okay. D:

Well Miranda isn't you, so... It doesn't really count. I am fine if she doesn't want them, but what I don't want is that it's cut out because some of the fans don't want it, even if it's optional end scenario.

so... it shouldn't be cut out because some people don't want it, but it should be in because some others do? that seems a little one-sided.

(just taking the comment in isolation).

Nah, I said it should be optional. Those who don't want it, then they don't have to experience it. There should be option for both.

Engineer Gabriella Daniels: I've got green across the board. The forward tanks are bouyant and elevated.

Kenneth Donnelly: Are you talking about the Normandy, or Miranda?

Engineer Gabriella Daniels: I'm talking about the one that's covered and protected, not bouncing in the breeze.

Kenneth Donnelly: I don't know. Officer Lawson's uniform is very official. It always makes me stand at attention.

Engineer Gabriella Daniels: You're such a dog.

:D I love these guys, and the catsuit jokes that jump up from time to time. :D

LOL. I love it when I catch them saying that. To bad you can intervene. I would have loved to see them say that to me after the engine room scene lol.

Haha. I've never noticed that before. May be because once I get them the part they need, I don't go back to talk to them again.

Me too! I chuckled when Donnelly says they are going to kick the reapers in their "daddy bags" I laughed so hard because it was so unexpected. I suspect his accent was to pay homage to Star Trek's Scotty...

It would be funny if Oriana was on the Normandy... how much joking she'd do to Miranda about her and Maleshep's relationship. Being that Miranda and Oriana have a huge age difference. Would Miranda be more "motherly" to Oriana or a big sister? It could be quite the comedy.

There's also a pretty amusing bit of banter from Donnelly regarding Jack's look, as well as Tali's. I try to pass by engineering on a regular basis for their chatter Posted Image

Oh they have the best quotes. Especially after you get the good rations for the mess sergeant, Donnelly says that the Mess serge couldn't cook a good haggus, but Gabby says all haggus tastes like ass, and Donnelly replies : "Yes, but in the right hands, it can taste like mighty fine ass!"

He makes sexual comments to just about every girl on the Normandy. Miranda...Tali (when she's right on the other side of the room)...Jack. XD It's amazing.

Joker has some funny chatter if you stand behind him long enough and frequently.

Yep!  :)  I'm sure Joker was all ears to hear about Shepard and Miranda getting funky together. Not saying it was her persay but funny nonetheless.  :innocent:   I bet EDI knows every dirty secret on board.

I bet she has secret databases, and video footage of them.

But as per the voice:

*insert p0rn noise here*
Joker: Ah, sorry! That was supposed to go to my earpiece.

Shepard: Joker...where did you get that?

Joker: EDI DID IT!

EDI: I am an all-knowing AI, Commander. I have numerous databases filled with video streams from cameras set up all around the ship. Almost every corner of the Normandy is surveyed on camera at one point or another.

Shepard: O.O... I should go..

I hadn't, but yeah... pretty hilarious. Please no more dry-humping, Bioware. Thanks Posted Image

Oh, and apparently I need to spend more time around joker, I seem to have missed some stuff.

Really? Don't you listen to them when you pass them on the way to Tali? I mean OK, you romance Miranda like most of us here, but you can't tell me you don't talk with Tali...

Ah, Ken and Gabby should return. I want my Lazarus cell crew back in ME3, damn it!

Bioware, you know it: please give us some halfway believable romance scenes. ME1 was so much better.

Uh....can you imagine Oriana and Kasumi trying to best each other with witty remarks about relationships among the crew? LOL, that would be enough to make the saviour of the Citadel run away fast with Miranda right at his heels.

And there's more than a hint of the motherly in Miranda's protectiveness of Oriana. Recall how she researched the background of the boy Oriana had a crush on? It's probably just as well that Oriana and Miranda meet only occasionally. That would go on Oriana's nerves.

Not that we'll see anything of that in ME3. Not unless they try and wrap Miranda's backstory up with a mission about her father. I'd like that, but I'm nearly certain it won't happen.

Well I don't talk to Tali either, there's just no reason to. Kenneth and Gabby are the only reasons to come down to Engineering and of course the sexy time.

Ok, I've got a question for everyone: what do you want to happen at the epilouge (sorry if thst is spelt wrong) with Miranda? To the people that don't want Miranda and Shepard to have kids, what do you want?

I know I want marriage and kids. I for one want to see little Shepards and Mirandas running around. What does everyone else want?

If I'd know what I want, I'd tell you. But honestly I don't know. I am just hoping for some sort of happy ending for them, kids are not excluded from that scenario. I don't want to imagine them growing old and never having kids, because they can't. If they don't want kids, that's alright, but I always want there to be an option for it. Nor do I want adopted kids, it's ''my flesh and blood'' or no dice.

With marriage, meeh.. I am not that big of a believer in marriage, but it could be a nice touch. As for what they'll be working on, I don't know. The TIW scenario sounds extremely boring for me, I am hoping they come up with something else or at least twist it around a bit.

What Shepard will be doing, I have no idea, it depends a lot on what happens during the war.

This is from the OP:

Possible endings for Miranda I would like:

(1) The Illusive Woman: Miranda takes over what remains of Cerberus and creates humanity's equivalent of the salarian STG from it.
(2) Into the Sunset: Miranda and Shepard lead an expedition into the unknown reaches of the galaxy, never to be seen again in Citadel space.
(3) The Foundation: Miranda inherits her father's fortune and uses it to develop Lazarus technology into something more widely available and develop other human enhancement technologies.

I have absolutely zero interest in Miranda's family life - unless it's *interesting*. For instance this: in her father's home, Miranda finds tanks with other clone sisters and she'll raise these children as her own daughters. Otherwise, keep the family stuff out of my epic SF scenarios. None of the abovementioned scenarios exclude the possibility of children, and that's as it should be, but unless it's interesting, I don't want it to become a topic. Leave it 100% to the player's imagination.
