Stop the teasing, Bioware.

Hmm, I wonder who's the poor bastard who'll have to read through all of that.

I doubt it - nothing is likely to come for a good couple of months. At best, I'm guessing it'll be Christmas/New Year before the marketting machine kicks into high gear.

Also, found this elsewhere:

Made that one for the motivational thread a while back.

I like these ideas especially. Where the "petty thief on Omega" one is concerned, I can't remember exactly what info we have on Miranda's transition to working with Cerberus, but I guess there might be time for that. She does seem to be familiar with Omega in any event.

The other two seem to develop a recurring theme of the character, revolving around problems of birth and rebirth. Interesting stuff!

the thing that made me like miranda a lot more is that she was able to get armor from the alternate appearence pack dlc (same goes for jack, somewhat). it made me mad that she would just run off into batle in a leather catsuit. the full leather outfit and ger default outfit are ok for onboard the normandy, but i want my squad in armor whenever we are off the ship

Please, not in omega (she will have a lot of showers and decontaminations). It will be better thief in illium or a more developed planet.

Actually "petty thief" was a bit light in the one story I attempted to use it for. Prostitution--exactly once, as an extreme low point--was also involved. Most;y because she mentions her looks as something her father gave her, but doesn't regard those gifts as hers. That can provide fodder for some pretty dark stuff. I still like the lighter version.

And, yeah, my Shepard/Miranda has severe parent/child overtones. Since I don't romance her, it works.

I found the catsuit plausible since she is a biotic therefore she is akin to a support character; i.e she isn't running into the heat of the battle. In fact she, obviously, doesn't last as long as frontline characters such as Grunt or Garrus. In warfare support units have little to no armour for the sake of increasing mobility.

Tbh I thought the armour of the dlc went against her intended role in battle and I didn't like that. Also it went against that 'spy/ secret agent' vibe that I personally think she exerts. However, the space parts where her skin is exposed is just plain ridiculous... :pinched:

From Miranda's story, it seems like she was recruited by Cerberus immediately after running away from her father, which means that she didn't need to perform any other jobs to survive.

She was most likely first deployed as either a researcher for one of Cerberus' projects, or a honey trap to blackmail politicians into doing Cerberus' bidding.

Wow, the man/woman has talent. BioWare, Casey, and company take notice. This would definitely be an ideal casual outfit for her in ME3. I like the fact that it has the Alliance and SR2 insignias, yet still feels like a Cerberus suit with its color scheme. A good way to make a compromise between both sides I guess?

I'm curious, do you think that Miranda would work for the Alliance? I don't think that the Alliance would trust her but do you think that she would even work for them?

She may not work for Cerburus, depending on your choices of course, but I don't know if she would work for them, she seems to hate them to me...

Theoretically, I think so, depending on how it was handled. For one thing, defeating the Reapers would be the priority. For another, it would probably be a bit like some of the alliance personnel working for Cerberus in ME2: it's all about the mission, she would have some misgivings, reservations, tensions with certain crew members, etc.

Part of the point of having Miranda around would be to bring some of those conflicting perspectives into the character interactions, so it might make sense.

Yeah, exactly, which is basically what a lot of the ex-Alliance crew said in ME2 regarding working with Cerberus. So, it's plausible from that point of view.

She has friends in the Alliance I believe, but that doesn't mean that she'd work for it. Too much bureaucratic red tape.

Really? I don't think so. I've played through all of the loyalty missons and Jacob's LM doesn't have a waterfall like that. Zaeed's does, but it didn't focus on whoever else you brought with you like the picture suggests, it's more or less just talking to Zaeed while Miranda chills against the railing.

It seems I can never get this scene to happen. It's just a quick passing thing of her leaning on the railing. D:
