I just saw Miranda's loyalty mission again on youtube and that moment where she cries after talking to Orianna and looks back to Shepard is overflowing with so much emotion , it is nearly unbelievable. This scene coupled with the 'hug' (final) scene makes me want to dare any other LI fanboy to find scenes like those that convey as much character and emotion as those scenes do.

Kudos to the writers! Although they could have done much better with the overall character progression, including Miranda's, they've created one hell of a character...

I agree. I think that scene is one, if not the most emotional scene in the entire game. Afterwards though, I always picture Shepard wiping her tears away. That would have been a beautiful scene to see.

Somehow, I always found myself avoiding using biotics, usually never Miranda except until I got Zaeed in Omega...I brought Jack along but very rarely, and I never brought Samara/Morinth along.

I usually use biotics.since my to main canns are so.
jack and miri would be great if the system wasnt bashed down and miris was more powerful.her wrap and slam would be great if they didnt mend her to be a model and jack(even though i like her) wasnt a bit decayed in the brain and untrained.her powers would give miranads a run for her money

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you there, Jack and Miranda should be more powerful, but Jack is a vanguard and Miranda is a sentinel (I think), so Jack would obviously have stronger powers..hopefully ME3 makes it more enjoyable to use biotics..

Ah yes,i do believe your right on Miri being a sentinel.so ive been wrong a bit.yeah if the tech/biotics were soupped back up and to the game wether its a bit overpowered or not.would make everyones abilities/powers more respectable and interesting.

but since shes a scienist who is in the top ranks of cerberus her tech should be godlike

Yeah, you would think so I mean she can bring a dead person back to life, right?...I like the fact that she can use overload, but so can Garrus and he's way more useful in combat than her. I hate playing any class with biotics because it is really boring they really need to find a way to make biotics less boring...in my opinion.

i understand that.biotics in me1 were more fun and viberent in battle.
true garrus overload is boss.miri can only match it once hers is fully leveled and with wrap and slam.being her "strong" abilities.she loses out on her scienific work.rending her somewhat useless

Well, just because I only used her once or twice, I don't really think shes that worthless...i mean she can outlive Tali and Kasumi in my playthroughs, but that doesnt really mean too much. You would think that being one of the icons of ME2 she would have been more reliable on the battlefield..

I thought the SM was really biased in her favor, actually... she survives squad leader even when disloyal. You have to try in order to get her killed Image IPB

@Blitz thats one thing.that dos not stop irking me.is the biased part of her existence in the game.
if they presented her in a more meaningfull manner and not just some model who has some IQ i would accept her for as she is.

i differ for a second
if only Mass effect has a squad management tatic option like Dragon Age:Origin

LOLNO it's called game balance dummy. They nerfed biotics so badly from ME 1 to 2 that biotics are no longer fun to use. Tech attacks are just as bad.

Also...you obviously suck at squad management, given that Miranda keeps dying on you. Miranda has only died on me thrice in all 25 of my playthroughs. Tali died at least thrice in every playthrough...

...and I only ever take her out on her LM. And give her a geth shotgun. Tali is just that much fail in battle.

No matter how useful you think a squadmate is, they all show their uselessness on Insanity.

I agree, I hate how society portrays the image of a "perfect" woman, big breasts, long hair..and for some reason they had to add a perfect woman to Mass Effect 2, it's really not necessary...not to mention what they did to Ashley's design..

I guess they chose to make Miranda with all of her "assets" and then slap her on the cover wearing a skin-tight outfit holding a gun...whatever it takes to sell games, right? Image IPB

I love Miranda's attitude. She is a beautiful, intelligent woman who can clearly take care of herself (I never have problems with her dying. When I play through she may only die once or twice and that's because of a lack of cover or just a quick bombardment of heavy ammo). At first she is cool and collected; rational and pragmatic. She remains unfazed by just about everything, except of course, by her past. Her mind is full of haunted memories, and in the rare situation they do bother her, it gives her that ultimate beauty in her character knowing that through her perfections she is still human. When she begins to open up to Shepard, we see the real woman behind the Cerberus Operative. Sultry, sexy, playful. In short, Miranda is the total package.

I definitely agree with this!

If she was made normal looking or a little ugly.i think she would have been a better more rich character.whos natural progression towards the crew would have even been enjoyable specially at the end when she "quits" cerberus

@FF i want to give her credit for dumping cerberus.but with her daddy issues and "self respect" i dont think she'll leave them for long.she even says herself shes not that much of a decent person and just a sex idol.which in retrospect it shows some advancement of growing up.but i just cant get over how much her loyalitly for cerberus was untell Shep comes along.whos to say a Cerberus type "shep" cant sawy her back to them
