@jreezy, It's the truth :D Same mentality, we all like the idea of strong, independent women in the future, not infatuated, fainting maidens like Tali (I like Tali, but Ash and Miri are much better LIs)

Oh yeah. That's why I didn't really like Liara in the first game. She was a damsel, and when Ash was there, being all haughty and spouting her poetry after kicking major ass she was my obvious choice.

And then Miranda came along, and no words are needed to explain the history afterwards. <3

As a Literature student, my heart was permanently Ashley's after she quoted 'Ulysses'. But thanks to the joy of multiple Shepards, Miranda is the LI of my second 'canon' Shepard.

Hmmm. No wonder why I find Liara even more attractive after Lair of the Shadow Broker. She became a strong independent, woman-like thing. I guess you're right.

Yes but Shep could help Miri look at it in the way that Miri has the chance to have a child that way and surpass every expectation her father ever placed on her by being a better parent than her father could ever have dreamed of being. I understand it might be a difficult choice for her but it hurts me to see her so... hurt by the fact that even though she was designed to be perfect she cant have children... that is more of a negative blow to her than anything else I think... it may be destroying her self esteem.

Then again its only my opinion.

That is very true. With Miranda's cool attitude at times it's hard to figure out exactly what it is that makes her tick. Her problems with her perfection could very well be because of the fact that she can't bear children, or it could be because of her father's attitude towards her, or the sheer aspect that she KNOWS she should be perfect, but it's clear she isn't.

She is a complicated woman, she is.

All women are complicated for the simple fact that the only one thing that all women have in common is that no two women are exactly alike.

There is no cookie cutter formula that I have run into that achieves success with all... I am who I am and it will either work or it wont... trust me I know this very well. I lost 15K when I decided to end an engagement to a woman that I realized was not the one for me a little too late. She kept the damn ring.

I do believe that for a PERSON she has a good head on her shoulders and her actions outweigh her self esteem issues in a posative way. As a woman... I dont have that perspective and I cant judge because I am an XY chromosone and not an XX.

Ash was my canon choice for ME1... but since the first thing I heard her say to me was that I was a traitor and she broke up with me on Horizon... I let that ship go.

Well, from a Female perspective, in my own opinion, children are not something I want, and if I were to become infertile, I wouldn't mind in the least. So even though you have an XY chromosome, and mine match Miranda's, it doesn't help understand her at all. XD

Her writers have hinted that Ash had an ironclad reason for the way she acted on Horizon, similar to Liara's LOTSB plotline, but uniquely Ashley's.

Back on topic, any hints as to what kind of re-design Miranda is getting for ME3?

I was comparing perspectives... you have the female perspective to try to understand Miranda. I didnt mean her choice to want to have kids. I meant the overall ability understand the person from a totally different perspective. Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. It is true that the sexes may perceive things differently.

Basically I was saying that me being a guy could mean that I am totally and absurdly wrong at trying to understand her, her motivations, and her perspective. All I can do is empathize with Miri's character.

As far as attire, I wouldn't mind if she kept the catsuit. It is impratical but she wears it so well.:D

None yet really... they are keeping it hush hush because they know we want her soooooo bad. I have heard rummors about more realistic Armor. To be honest I never thought she was "battle ready" in her outfit... I am in no way saying I did not like the view.

None, as far as I know. But that's pretty much true of everything surrounding the character in ME3.

There has been some talk, I believe, in general terms, of some characters having a combat suit and a casual suit for the Normandy, which logically might include Miranda, but I don't think she has been specifically referenced in that context.

I understand that.

As per the redesign, I am a fan of the catsuit, and I would also be a fan of slightly longer hair for Miranda. :D

Yesss <3 I think I love Miranda so much because she reminds me of Brennan in the early seasons (just a little less awkward) but smart, beautiful, and a badass. :-D

Yes, I think it's because she has a hard time relating to people, socially.  :?

The only romances to M!Shep that I like is Ash and Miri. The thing that I like is that their are womans, not girls. Second that you have to work to gain their heart.

And abour her redesing, I'm eager to see some screenshot or concept art, but only one image of her can be a big spoiler.

Yeah, she has her problems, but you wouldn't be able to tell what they were, or if she really had them, unless she told you. Image IPB She's a future Brennan...who can have a gun. XD

Temperance Brennan has a child-like innocence when it comes to socialization. Not so with Miranda.

Yes, I said that she isn't awkward, but almost every other aspect can be thinly related to Miranda.

One thing that kinda was... I dont know how to describe it... a stab of jelousy? a moment of WTF? or a moment of joy knowing I am dealing with a mature woman who is not constrained by the perceptions and stereotypes of society?

I am talking about the Shadow Broker dossiers.... the Miri extranet meeting other guys for you know what.... my feelings on it are confused..., more so that there is no actual timeframe given for those in correlation to Miri and my Shep's relationship....

Im just so confused.... HELP!

Miranda sort of reminds me of a female vesion of Michael Westin from Burn Notice. She's competent, resourceful, and higly skilled, but can be cold and aloof at times. Of couse the Shepard who I romanced her is based off of Fiona, he's a blunt, impulsive, paragade.

LoL, well, the SB dossier is obviously meant to be suggestive, but possibly also misleading. So I wouldn't read too much into it for the moment.
