I completely agree. Miranda's character has soooo much that could be expanded on. I doubt ME3 will touch up on all of those unfortunately...

I'm not sure that's a better question. The enhancements are in the initial conversations because the two characters don't know each other yet. Between those conversations and the romance, the entire loyalty mission sequence takes place, so the characters have come to know and trust each other better.

How, exactly, in your mind, should Miranda's genetic modifications influence the romance?

EDIT: I'm not even sure that it's accurate to say that they don't influence the romance because part of Miranda's attraction to Shepard is his ability to excel without enhancements, whereas Shepard admires Miranda's gifts and what she's done with them. This does play into your second point about Miranda possibly seeing her gifts as a curse, which is certainly an interesting topic, though that is not the only way they are perceived in the game. Certainly not by Shepard.

I think it would... but perhaps more indirectly? For instance I think her attraction to Shepard is largely due to competence, aptitude and achievement. And I think that emphasis stems from her background.

As funny as it would be Omega you know the BSN -  no sense of the humor and very thin skins  people would get  upset about.     Some smack a talk never hurt anyone but here  unfortunatly is not the place for it. 


And I'm Ashley fan ... I would not bother me -  all in good fun but some won't take it that way  

Considering we've been getting talked down to since before ME2, the jokes are getting a little tired.

 

There is a  big difference between all in good  fun smack talk - and talking down  to.  That is what I was referening - Some take  just in good fun smack  as being talked  down too. 

Like the  Wrex behind  Tali mask Joke -  I'm a Tali fan and I find that joke hilarous. Its joke - no harm no foul.

There's a pic, which I used to see all the time and of course can't find now, where Yvonne dyed her hair for some Mass Effect promotion (though she didn't do a full cosplay IIRC). To me it's a definite improvement, but that's my personal preference for brunettes showing.

Yeah, I actually think I conceded the initial point too quickly (see my edit of one of my posts above). I think you're right, it is definitely a factor.

P.S. regarding her modifications, I love the whole nurture vs nature debate. I love how tensed she seems about her 'perfection' and also how Shepard's success intrigues her. If only they gave her more time to develop as a character!
