Don't you guys get tired of posting the same Miranda pics? Too bad BioWare hasn't released any ME3 pics of her.
I shall never get tired of posting and being in awe over the "same Miranda pics". How could you say such things?
But yes, i agree that it is too bad that BW hasnt released any new pics of her.

Yes, they could surely give us one or two decent pics without giving away too much.
A picture of her sitting in a captain's chair wearing an Alliance admiral's uniform and a confident smirk would stir the rumor pot nicely, for instance

She pretty much said "FU" to Cerberus with her resignation. Her joining the Alliance would be the ultimate adding insult to injury.drwells123 wrote...

I really liked the story, I'd be interested in seeing a continuation.

The question would then be, did she get a commission, or did she just "find" the uniform somewhere, forge some orders, and "borrow" a few ships to go rescue Shepard, for instance? She has so little patience for bureaucracy, after all

(2) That she leaves Cerberus doesn't mean she suddenly likes the Alliance. Recall her comment on Horizon?
I would dislike such a picture. I don't want Miranda with the Alliance and I hope she'll do her own thing in ME3.

I would actually like if Miranda went off and did her own thing as well. Perhaps start her own little organization. I was just giving my thoughts on the hypothetical picture that's all.Ieldra2 wrote...

I also hope that MIranda doesn't join the Alliance. It would seem so out of character. I understand her resignation form Cerberus if you destroy the base, I understand her staying with Cerberus if you don't. But I'd rather her be of doing her own sort of operation than have her suddenly Alliance.

I wonder what it would take to make her join. I'd think it would be some balance between independence and sufficient power/resources to let her influence events more than she could on her own. Maybe flag rank, or a Spectre-like position reporting only to Anderson, or command of a Section 31-like organization (since the Alliance is apparently going to need one to replace Cerberus).

LOL, I guess no one is not for it, and Miranda is in a very good position to have such a story arc. If only I could trust Bioware to do it - with Liara on the team again in spite of having a very important full-time job where she could support the war against the Reapers much better than on the Normandy. I wonder how they'll justify that.naledgeborn wrote...

We can be reasonably sure that TIM will not be a normal human when we meet him in ME3. Beyond that, I have no idea. I don't think we'll get Saren 2.0 with him, and Mac Walters has confirmed that he wasn't a secret enemy all along so I take it he'll not be indoctrinated. How his experiences with the Reaper artifact has changed him - that's the great mystery, right?Skullheart wrote...
I have to ask: Are we really sure that TIM will be a normal human when we meet him on ME3?.
As for how Miranda stands with Cerberus at the start of ME3, here are some of the possibilities I see:
(1) Miranda at odds with Cerberus and trying to infiltrate them.
(2) Miranda blackmailed by Cerberus into going after Shepard for them.
(3) Miranda convinced by TIM that Cerberus going after Shepard is necessary.
(4) Miranda captured by Cerberus.

(4) Miranda captured by Cerberus.
Out of that list I'd hope for #1.
#2, now that I think about it, it would be tough to blackmail her. If she resigned from Cerberus, she would have to know she was putting Oriana in danger. She might bet that Oriana, being as smart/resourceful as she is, would have a bolt-hole ready in case she noticed anyone paying unusual attention to her. (Especially if Miranda foresaw such a possibility, and warned her.) Even if Cerberus did capture Oriana, Miranda would hardly expect TIM to uphold his end of the bargain should she agree to kill Shepard. She might pretend to go after Shepard, only to ask for her help with the rescue.
#3 would be an unhappy situation especially if Shepard romanced her, but could be interesting if written/plotted well.
#4, damsel in distress - please no, that's another squad member's job

NOT IT!
There's already a "healer class" in ME. The Medic spec from the first game was a healer.

Liara went from quirky science girl to the being the big damn protagonist of the series because of popular demand, Hopefully this thread makes an impression on the writers.

I say #4 would be acceptable, too - if on the way to rescue her, we meet her in the process of breaking out. But #1 would be my preference as well. And I would prefer #3 to #2, provided that it's possible to convince her to re-think her course of action, for instance by some information that tells her TIM hasn't given her the full picture.
We might just find her in a tough spot, a bit like Archangel in ME2. Which I agree could be fine. #1 would perhaps be ideal. #2 and #3 I like a lot less, but I also think they are a lot less likely.
Re: Miranda working for the Alliance, I think that is unlikely to happen directly, but I could see her taking a post on the Normandy, maybe even first officer. It would basically turn the tables on the situation in ME2, where we had a bunch of alliance people working on a Cerberus ship.
In Arrival, Admiral Hackett says something about not being sure it's even a Cerberus ship anymore, while Miranda is still the XO.
Re: pics, no, I don't really get tired of them, though new ones would be awesome.
