Lol. Just what we needed, an army of Luis clones. Soon we'll be be the new talimancers.
Ieldra, jtav please think up some new topics for intelligent discussion.

LOL, hard to come up with new topics after all this time. But here's one thing we haven't discussed for a while:

What do you think Miranda's father really wants? This idea of a genetic dynasty isn't exactly feasible without some pretty convoluted stuff added to the whole plot, and I don't think the man is stupid. So what does he want?

I've posted a number of scenarios some time ago but I don't want to get in the way of others' ideas so I'll mention them later.

He's a CEO. He wants to privatize the "perfect" human. I thought it was kind of obvious since Miranda and Oriana were both females.

Edit: I also think he's Exogeni and not Eldfell-Ashland Energy.

I don't think it's very complex. He wanted his bloodline to be superior to common humanity. And the tech used to create Miranda can be used to make sure it isn't diluted.

Agreed. I am also willing to bet that the helmeted female Cerberus soldiers are Miranda clones. That would be an epic twist in my opinion.

I admit, it would be pretty freaky. For us and for Miranda.

If they are the ones that were disqualified, yeah maybe. Otherwise no, I had enough of that in Force Unleashed. No more ''mehee! EVIL ME! I MUST DESTROY DEM!!'' :pinched:

The thing is, yes, the technology can be used to make sure it isn't diluted. But he can't ensure it will be used. Perhaps I'm giving the man too much credit for intelligence, but unless there is a built-in mechanism that lets the improved genetic traits be spliced into the next generation's father's genes, there is no way to ensure the permanence of the dynasty. And should he have such a mechanism, the traits will bleed into the rest of the population in time. So either the dynasty's traits get diluted, or its exclusivity will be lost in time.

Granted, Bioware's writers likely aren't too knowledgeable about genetics, so they might have overlooked this little difficulty.

Edit:
An army of Miranda clones should be invincible. Even for Shepard. So no, I certainly hope they won't be Miranda clones.

<_< don't say things like that, it doesn't help to cheer me up

Also, I count over 33300 lines in ME2 (with all the DLC) not 25000.

Let's see. ME2 has 25K, ME3 will have 40K. If Miranda has 1265 lines in ME2, she should have (40/25) * 1265 =  2024 lines in ME3.

I second your demand!

Probably about 800 or so. I'd be absolutely shocked if she doesn't get a smaller role, probably about the size of Tali's in ME2.

Lets just hope that BW is looking at the forums and noticing how amazing Miri is and how much we would appreciate it if Miranda had a large role in the game. I know that there isnt enough time between now and release to do something about it, but a guy can dream, cant he? *sheds a tear*
