Miranda is a great squad leader. There's a lot she could do on the frontlines.
But yeah, if the unfinished business amounts to something, my money's on Lazarus.
Why that? What about our Romance with her?

The Lazarus project is something that all Shepards share, it's vague and logic defying enough that you can associate pretty much anything to it and Miranda was in charge of it in it's entirety.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...

The words were "especially if romanced". Miranda's unfinished business is not just the romance.

For some reason I think it may have to do with Orinna. Especially if Miranda was loyal and quit Cerberus.
I can see TIM using Orinna against Miranda.
It's definitely one of the ideas that gets tossed around. The Oriana thing is pretty tangential to the main thrust of the story, though (fighting Cerberus, recruiting allies such as the Krogan and Geth, etc., defeating the Reapers), so I think it's less likely to be a focus.

What is your reasoning there?
Petty I know, but she never got that "wow" moment Garrus/Jack/Thane/Samara did. Flinging Enyala around just doesn't look that impressive by comparison.

But the beginning of the loyalty mission was a heck of a wow if you used the renegade interrupt.

Well, Miranda doesn't need that type of intro in ME2, due to her status as lead NPC of the game. (She's more likely to get a big entrance, power-wise, in ME3, ironically). Her entrance is really cool, of course, and does include wading through some mechs off-screen, but the focus is elsewhere.
That said, even on the basis of that comparison, I don't know... Samara basically beats up a random merc, and Thane jumps a few people from behind. Garrus is a good sniper, but in other areas his record isn't very impressive. Jack's power gets played up better than the others, I'd agree, but Miranda doesn't even bat an eye when confronting her.
With Miranda you have a top-level human biotic with greatly enhanced everything as far as physical prowess is concerned + superior tech skills + leadership. Her squad buff is unique, and she's the only character who can lead the fire teams regardless of loyalty. The description of her abilities given during the suicide mission is also really impressive.

Nah, Shep got the rally cool moment there when he shot the tanker. Miranda fired 5-6 shots into one merc. She's more badass if you don't take the interrupt.
Yeah, the interrupt is always tempting, but I think I actually prefer the scene without it.

That settles it. I am physically incapable of making a playthrough where Miranda doesn't talk to Oriana.
Why would anyone keep Miri from talking to Oriana in the first place? That's just awful. <_<

Perhaps I am remembering incorrectly, but I think she initially doesn't want to. So, in that case, it's really a question of whether you try to change her mind or not. For the record, yeah, I have a hard time not encouraging her to go over there.
