The only close moment Vega and Miranda could ever have together is if they had hate ***. Vega is a hot head like no other. Hell even Grunt seems tame compared to Vega. Everytime I think of Vega's temper... flashes of Perfect Cell fly into my mind. RAAAAGE!

Good point there but relatioships based on similar emotional distress rarely work out.

Completely off topic, but I'm off to a games convention tomorrow, and ME3 will be there. I doubt I'll be able to find out anything on Miranda, despite how much I'll pester, but I'll give it a shot! Also looking forwards to having a go on the demo, but yeah...Miranda

I know what you mean. I'm almost certain she's on the squad at some point, but yeah...it's tough when you like a character so much cause you just want them to stay the same, where as developers are ike "Oh, yeah we can change this and that, you know give her more depth or whatever" and it takes away what you originally liked about that character...

Well, clearly Bioware is determined not to reveal any specifics at this point. They have had every opportunity to do so and have steadfastly refused.

That probably means that either Miranda is slated to be part of a marketing push later on, or that her role is meant to be a surprise.

Still, it never hurts to ask.

the bad thing is we still have 5 months to ship, and I don't want too much spoilers, but I want to know where is Miri?  I'm trying to get back into DA2, and DLC's coming out so I have something to do, but it's losing momentum, so unless the new expansion for DA2 come out, I'll have nothing much to do but hope for the best.

Yeah. Mac Walters has actually been more open than anyone else on the subject of Miranda, and I think his tweets are very encouraging, if we read between the lines.

But anyway, as long as we're not spamming questions or anything like that, I think it's cool to ask every once in a while because, hey, you never know.

My big problem is that I can see her going a few different ways, a few of which are going to make me hack my savegames so she dies. And the longer I stay here, the more convinced I'll have to do that.

Yeah not something I'd advocate doing, I'll probably ask him again in a week or two but also try to make the question in a way that he can answer...

Also @ jtav I haven't heard anything about her in ME3 that would indicate she's going to change too much, then again we don't know enough right now

Doubt that. It'll probably just be whatever they've been showing everywhere else to be honest.

@jtav - so what would be your worse case scenario then? I'm curious to know what would put you off her character if they changed it?

Briefly speaking, that the Miranda I saw on Lazarus Station is gone. I want the woman who's own hands are not clean and for whom the mission comes first. I've sen too many female characters who appear cold and ruthless but just need someone to show them the light and really want marriage and children and drop the cause the moment they meet our hero. Paranoid? Maybe. And yet, the idea nags at me.
