That said, they must've found something that confirmed that Yvonne is reprising her role.

The only reason why he's rumored is that imdb hasn't found a solid confirmation yet. Until they find a source that confirms that Sheen is in, they always list rumor.

Maybe, but I prefer to wait an official confirmation from Bioware or Yvonne.

I prefer her Brunette.

I'm the same. IMDB isn't always reliable in my experience.
The Plot conclusions I'd like to see are
- Orianna's Safety
- Miranda's Fertility
- Miranda's Father
- Romance (Obviously)

ever been in love? because it does change you, whether you see it or not - others will. self doesn't always have to be the driver of everything, even with strong personalities.
personally i didn't get the impression that miranda was particularly 'watered down' by the end of ME2, certainly in anyone else's eyes (see the SM convo after they crash). the Liara LoSB convo can easily be dismissed as BW doing yet more of that fanservice they seem to so love.

I'd like to see Shepard show a more vulnerable side with his Love Interest.
- Yes, this sums it bascially for me as well.
- I know some don't want Miranda's fertility cured but I would hope that we(player) are given a choice whether it is or not.

- I'll think of more later... off to work.

Miranda remodeling:
I won't go into why I think that Miranda could profit from slight changes in her body and face - I don't want to trigger a three-page debate with those here who insist that she's 100% perfect and there's no room for improvement (*scoffs*) - but I predict we will get a bit of remodeling. Not a lot, and likely almost unnoticeable in her face, but it will be there.
Miranda and Shepard reunion in ME3:
I certainly expect more than a perfunctory kiss. I don't want to spam what I wrote about how I envision their first meeting in ME3, so I've put it in my blog: Miranda and Shepard reunion in ME3 (concept writing)
jtav's scenario with the scars I don't like so much. I've always imagined that Miranda heals without scars. Though it may take more time than she's got at the moment. I also wouldn't like a "reverse promise" scene unless her response is variable and echoes Shepard's response in the ME2 romance. Miranda strikes me as being bluntly honest. She wouldn't make a serious promise like that knowing that it may not be in her power to keep it.
Miranda plot points I want to see resolved:
(1) Coming to terms with her origins - accepting herself as what she is and, on a deep-down level, that that doesn't mean she's doomed to be someone's tool. That she can take pride in her achievements because they are hers. That it doesn't matter how she got her gifts, it matters how she uses them. The resolution may or may not require a confrontation with her father.
This is also what I want before everything else for Miranda's mental well-being: that she gains the self-esteem appropriate for her achievements.
(2) A resolution of her infertility issue. Mainly I want her to retain the ability to pass on her gifts. Preferably she'd use her father's technology and repair the flaw that makes her infertile in her offspring at the same time should it be genetic. That would reinforce (1) in a big way. But I only want to see all that in the epilogue. I don't think it belongs in the main game. Note that this could also happen in a romance-less plotline.
Miranda romance scene - exotic locations:
I want them to make love on TIM's space station, floating in microgravity under that transparent dome with a field of stars in the background, so that it looks as if they're floating in open space. I've written a scene a long time ago, some may recall it. I've put it in my blog so it doesn't vanish up the thread. A Kind of Ascension - Miranda/Shepard romance scene on the Illusive Man's space station.
Miranda blond:
NOOOOO........ I was just so shocked when I saw that concept art first. Only dark-haired Miranda is the true Miranda.
Liara's comment about Miranda in LotSB:
I love it and I hate it. I love "What are you fighting for? The future of humanity, as evidenced by the perfect Ms.Lawson?" and I hate, hate, HATE "You have no idea how much you've changed her" for the same reason as jtav does - it suggests that Miranda has no agency and initiative in ther romance. People may change because of their loved ones, but that doesn't mean the loved one did the changing. Also I'd prefer not to see too much change except in the romance, and I don't think there has been a lot of change except in the romance.
Miranda for new players / reactivating a postponed romance:
I'd like to see both. The former would mean more players would have the chance of appreciating her, and the latter that we could reactivate the romance after using the postponement option in ME2 (it doesn't sound like a break-up anyway).
Miranda's presentation and writing in ME3:
I want more of her competence and "badassery" to be shown instead of told. I hinted at this in the reunion scene I linked above. Her ME2 LM shows mainly her emotional side, and should we get to deal with her father, we'll likely get that again. That's OK but some balance is needed. One method to do that is to make a really impressive reunion/introduction scene. Complete with biotic awesomeness, graceful combat movements, improbable aiming skills......and a passionate kiss if romanced, one that she initiates, in a reversal of the ME2 kiss.

I'm not in the know but I can't wait to see Miranda in Mass Effect 3! Even if she can't be with you because helping to stop the Reaper is more important, and Miri cares more about the mission that being a silly tag-along!
Go Miranda!

I, too, have always loved this "The mission is too important to let personal feelings interfere" attitude about Miranda. IMO it is one of her core traits that makes her who she is. Though I do hope that in ME3 the needs of the mission as written by Bioware won't prevent her from being with us for a significant part of the game.
As for fanfic:
With a little luck there will be a new 25k Chapter of Elyvern's Miranda/Shepard fanfic "Degrees of Inheritance" in a few days' time.

Yeah, I broke it off with Miranda once just to see how she would take it (evil, I know), and she seemed perfectly fine. At first I was disappointed but then I thought that's just who she is. I just wish she didn't say she was in love with you, it felt like something she wouldn't say so soon, and then to say "It's simpler this way" in such a casual manner when Shepard says you're too much alike made me confused.Ieldra2 wrote...

Also that was a pretty awesome post you made, but I think Miranda's skin tone would fit a blonde more. Her face is modeled after the girl from Chuck and she has darker skin than Miranda and blonde hair. Why would they give her lighter skin and dark hair? It's not a good mix.

It's a perfect mix if you ask me. That flawless pale skin and the dark hair are responsible for a great deal of her physical attraction.Natali-major-momscream wrote...

It is not typical, though, people with dark hair have more melanin in it, which also determines skin and iris color. People with dark hair, pale skin, and blue eyes are rare because of this. Also, Miranda was modeled after a blonde, so they clearly weren't going for accuracy.jtav wrote...
Au contraire. Pale-skinned brunettes are fairly common in media. I have about the same coloring as Miranda.

I don't know about the romance, but it seemed to me that Jack and Garrus were the only ones who's romances clearly end if you reject in the final scene.

I was not thinking of anything else when I wrote it. Not quite sure what you're getting at, but I can only think of one very cheap attempt in the early 1980s. The scene I envision combines the romantic with the epic and since this is a video game, is not as limited by the lack of special effects technology.Vertigo_1 wrote...

What were you thinking of? BTW, I'm not well-versed in sci-fi on TV. It's usually not to my taste. Watched a couple of B5 episodes and some Firefly, but that's about it.

Sapphires and diamonds? A perfect echo of her eyes. I don't quite know if it would look good on her pale skin, but if complemented with a black evening gown, it would certainly convey the image of a cool and distant beauty. I like it.jtav wrote...
Ignore the cost, do you think Miranda would look good wearing this? She's also wearing a flowing black evening gown.
