I think that's a logical new direction to go in, though it's compatible with the issue of overcoming self-doubt and angst regarding her genetic enhancements. Striking out on her own and finding a new place in the world without the support of her father or TIM should really allow both of those character arcs to be brought to a satisfying conclusion.

@LexieTheT-Rexy: You know what... this lady is a talented artist.But I must say that I just can't buy how she portrays Miranda in a same-sex relationship with FemShep.Its not just the sexual orientation of Ms.Lawson that is OOC.Its the way Miranda is shown behaving around FemShep.As if she were nothing more than some damn groupie and not one of the most accomplished and powerful ****** sapiens in the Mass Effect Universe.

I've even heard some people say things like (I'm paraphrasing) "Sense Miranda can't have kids,She should become a lesbian." That I think is incredibly insulting... <_<

It is insulting. And I say that as someone who writes her with Liara. I enjoy writing her as bisexual and she is in my headcanon, but I try to be respectful.

I agree. I like the sort of sweet feeling, but I've never been a fan of femshep and Miranda. It bothers me that almost EVERY Shepard and Miranda drawing or fanfic is of Femshep and Miri.

Eh? I'd be curious to read those comments, because that makes no sense at all. I've heard a lot of people speak out in favor of Miranda being a s/s love interest, but I can't recall any who presented the sterility issue from LotSB as the reason.

If anything, I've heard people occasionally joke about how that would be great for recreational sex (with a man).

^^Like I said, I like the overall feeling behind the pictures, but I've never been a fan of Miranda in any sort of homosexual relationship. I have absolutely nothing wrong with homosexual relationships, but I imagine Miranda with Male Shep, and only Male Shep.

There's no reason why you should be offended by those pictures, and I think they are perfectly appropriate to be posted here.

I've never heard anyone give her sterility as a reason either. I support it because I like the idea of the poster girl being queer and I think I'd stand a better chance at getting through the romance w/ FemShep.
