Oh.... but that is cheating... people in this thread complain about hoe Miri sometimes acts against her original convictions... and that is way against her convictions.

If they made her bi in ME3 it would be a retcon with no conflicting evidence. I don't exactly like the idea because Miranda is straight in my mind, but she's one of the easier LIs to make so and there is no reasonably objective reason to say it shouldn't be in the game.

I found equivalents for my deleted FemSheps on MassEffectSaves. So only MaleShep remains. To love triangle or not to love triangle? Liara's more likely than Ash.

I would tend to agree with this...

If I'm counting my PS3  saves...then I have 10 sheps( 4 on the PS3....3 males, 1 female and the 6 mentioned earlier on the pc). I just don't count the PS3...since I'm focusing on my pc sheps...since most of them will be imports from both 1 n 2( the one made spefically for 2 does have the genesis in play the decisions, I wnated made in 1).

If she is available as a love interest for new players (read: if she is on the squad for a significant period), then it wouldn't surprise me at all. In fact, I would expect it in that case. There would be little reason not to do so.

Well, I believe that all LI's can be part of the squad (8 members) for the rest of the game after re-recruit them. They need to be there with Shepard to progress the relation before the conlusion of their romance.

Some LIs are going to get short shift. There are simply too many LIs for it to be otherwise. We aren't going to have a squad of only romanceables.

Personally, I'm quite optimistic she will be. But, in the abstract, jtav is right. What we will likely see for returning love interests who cannot join the squad is some sort of resolution to the storyline within the specific set of missions where that character appears, via additional dialogue (and possibly a cut scene or two).

This could actually lead to some rather poignant and emotional moments tbh.

And I think you'll get the traditional before the final battle scene regardless of squad status because I think all past squaddies who survived will be present.

Those promised cheating consequences may be Miranda's saving grace since she can't die if romanced and will therefore be around for the drama.

And I seem to have found a quote that encapsulates both my maleShep's and my feelings for her. From the '95 Pride and Prejudice miniseries:

Well, I have 4 ME1 Sheps (2 guys, 2 ladies) who romanced all of the ME1 LIs. In ME2, I created even more Sheps...and IIRC...I now have 13 Shepards (mostly female, cause maleShep is just THAT dull) who either romanced Thane or Miranda. It just feels kinda lacking when Miri isn't around to warm my bed. There's Thane, but...I wish I could bed both him and Miranda.

P.S. The creep factor for a Thane romancing MShep is over 9000. *shudders*

She started tweeting once they had her in the booth recording (followed by Mac and the VO Director)

I think the same will happen with Yvonne...and since others have said she's filming Chuck right now...it won't happen until that is over (sometime in November I think)

Yvonne, she is one of the main pieces of Miri. Without Yvonne, Miri would not be...well, Miri.

It's like replace Daniel Radcliffe for Harry Potter, it couldn't be done, it can't be done. 

Replacing Yvonne would, in a sense, distort Miri's Character! Altering her in a severe way! It would be an epic fail on BioWare's part.

Indeed. I love that scene, by the way. Possibly my favorite scene in the entire mini-series, which is a great novel adaptation overall, one of the best I have seen. Just an hilarious and maddening scene all at once. Most ridiculous, yet strangely charming marriage proposal ever. I can't say that I, personally, have struggled all that much where Miranda is concerned. But certainly an interesting comparison to make.

Here I sort of mildly disagree, since I think there are far more compelling reasons for Miranda to have a large role. Some sort of romantic tension is a bonus, though, and clearly she provides that better than anyone else, especially layered with the provocative nature of her ties with Cerberus.


Re: Yvonne, can't wait until she finally does get back into the studio, as that is when we are most likely to get some more Miranda info, I would think.

Well, it's apt in my case. The romance as written infuriates me, but the character herself compels me almost against my sense. Add in a Sole Survivor MaleShep and it's uncanny.

My only concern with Strahovski is that scheduling conflicts would prevent her from voicing a very large role. In that case, recast the role, please! I'm much nore attached to Miranda than her actress.

I admit, if there is one thing that concerns me, it is that. We may have had a bit of a close call, with Chuck doing a final season and the game originally scheduled to come out, what? Towards the end of this year, was it?

Alternately, that's one of the reasons the game was delayed, in which case we should be popping champagne corks right now. LoL.
