naledgborn was objecting more to the picture being re-quoted on the same page, rather than being *snipped* by the 2nd poster, if I understood him correctly. No problem with the occasional repeated image. Over the course of several hundred page, it happens. The photos are still important to mix in with the text.

The crew quartes should fell awfully wrong. The cargo area doesn't sounds good to me. Maybe inside the kodiak or the Hammerhead.

You people seriously have issues with lack of imagination. Miranda is a biotic, ( My main Shepard, only Shepard is also a Biotic, doesn't matter, atleast Miranda is, provided other Shepards are not ) Biotics can create mass effect fields to pull/levitate objects..

Use your imagination.. Ugh.

I seriously doubt that by "it" Shepard meant sex rather than the relationship as a whole.

I know what shep meant, I was complaining about how it sounded. Sheps tone, the uncanny valley facial expressions (when shep smiles... Oh god), it all adds up and makes it feel... Cringe worthy.

Though I might say that meer is cringeworthy in all romances.

Anyway, the goal was obviously not to go hide in a dark corner of a cargo bay somewhere. The engine room is the ship's core, so it has a bit of a metaphorical dimension as well.

If you were talking about the "Who said anything about love...", I'd agree with you. But Shepard doesn't sound flirty or smiles during the "You want this line". He is super serious,.

Granted, I don't like that line but for completely different reasons.

Eh its not a bash fest. I prefer meer to hale in most regards, but romance dialogue just does not play to his strengths.

No no, I think you are not getting my whole complaint. Its a culmination of his romance dialogue, not just one line, or one expression.

He smiles wierdly at time while miranda is talking, (but of course all of his smiles are wierd) he says lines of dialogue that just reeks of creeper when said with the wrong tone... It was hard to enjoy the actual romance when my immersion is broken at times during the dialogue.

Agreed on that point. If I could mute Shepard's lines in the Miranda-mance, I would be tempted to do so.

My main Shepard chose the "Damnit you're right" option for the romance that results in Shepard saying "Maybe someday after we save the galaxy?" This sort of gives the romance a little more time to develop, that and it makes Liara's "I hope you two find happiness Shepard" line at the end of LoTSB a little more poignant.

I see it as the beginning of a romance regardless. But with an intense interlude inspired largely by the potentially imminent deaths of the concerned parties. But I do like the option you're describing as well.
