Could be interesting. The devs on twitter sound pretty pumped about the Vanguard overall. Doubt they would showcase a new squad member in that sort of situation, but you never know.

Well, I suppose there might be a scene where Anderson takes over the Normandy and Shepard is put in irons. In which case, maybe some of the ME2 crew will be there.

Maybe Miranda is also arrested? We've done some speculating on that before, I know. Still strikes me as an interesting possibility.

Well they generally don't cover things in the comics and books in the game. Since you already saw Shepard arrested, I doubt there will be an arrest scene. When you see squad members will probably go just like it did in ME2, where it depends on what mission you pick.

Yeah, probably, once the game gets going.

Some sort of early scene is still possible, though, I think, like in ME2, where you had the original Normandy getting destroyed prior to character creation, etc.

You're right about the comic, though. That had crossed my mind. Still, that was very brief, so maybe not enough to rule anything out. Seeing Shepard get arrested, especially by his old mentor, would be a pretty powerful moment.

So far, everything hints towards ME3 starting right in the middle of the trial so, unless there is a flashback scene or she has been captured (which I don't find very likely), I doubt we will see Miranda early on.
I expect we will meet her midway through the game, after fighting Cerberus several times and discovering multiple hints as to where she might or might not be and what she might or migth not be doing.

Well, beyond some sort of hypothetical early intro scene with the ME2 Normandy, when we meet Miranda will probably depend on how much she is in the game.

If she's in it quite a bit, then fairly early on, i.e. a mission you pick up soon after leaving earth. If she's not in the game much, then logically she wouldn't appear until towards the end of the Cerberus plotline. So, much later in the game.

I have the feeling we'll have to wait, though not necessarily very long. She won't be present in the prologue. Her reappearance will have a bigger impact that way. I like the idea of Miranda being there when Shepard is arrested as well as Miranda being arrested alongside, but I don't think we'll see it.

I am indifferent to the idea of such a picture, though Katie's example is very nice. But that bet is hilarious.

I don't believe we've had this picture with armored Miranda. Should I try a version with the full visor? Or would that lessen the impact of her eyes too much?



BTW, I can't but note how much less annoying the ass shot in the loyalty mission briefing is with Miranda wearing her armor. So far I've avoided armored Miranda on the Normandy, but it has its advantages.

And...is the above one better or this one?

Man, armored Miranda is really calling to me. For as little as I care about the others, I'm strongly considering paying a couple of bucks just for her. Such an improvement overall, although I still like her loyalty-unlocked outfit a fair bit. Just wish I could keep it at all times.

I'm not usually the one to wax cheesily poetic like this, but in that picture her eyes *really* are the color of deep space and the reflections in her eyes *really* are like the stars, aren't they? LOL. Not that Miranda would particularly like such comparisons, given her reaction to the poetic one of her would-be partners in the iPartners transcript.

Yep, the AAP2 is absolutely worth the small price you have to pay for it, even if you don't ever use any other of the optional outfits (I do, all of them). Having a different option than the white outfit for the first third of the game is very nice. I only wish that option was available right from the start of the game on Lazarus station.

Just heard Samara's opinion of Miranda again:

"Miranda is undoubtedly a hard woman. I respect her strength and determination. She carries many burdens and refuses to share them with others. As it should be."

Both of those pics are awesome. I actualy prefer the second one, by a slim margin. The other one is really cool, but it's an expression I've seen before in these pics pretty often (understandably). Second pic has a more unusual expression. Almost like she's about to get a little ticked off, actually. Nice!

Well, the first two squaddies you get seem to be the VS and Vega. So Kaidan will be there from the start in some games. Still, there will be another Sentinel, in all likelihood, and probably another human female. The way the squad is shaping up, I almost think that character would likely have to be both at once. So, I think we are going to be either very pleased or very pissed at some point between now and March.

But at any rate, yeah, if she's on the squad, we'll have the option of going to get her early on (probably).

Aria could theoretically take the Sentinel role. We already have one asari Adept. I predict either we or the Jack fans will be throwing proverbial tomatoes at her. And I still say we'll get a new human female LI to balance Vega.
