Geez, what's gotten into people today? Not even a "welcome" or anything.
I think we can afford to dial it back a notch in that department. If someone feels an irrepressible need to jump down someone's throat, I'm always available...
Yes, fellow posters, for the sake of argument, I'll defend whatever positions you most hate and despise: catsuit/armor, CB/betrayal, melting of the ice queen, increased/decreased femininity, Miranda uber in combat/Miranda not uber in combat, virginal Miranda/experienced Miranda, miracle pregnancies/magic sperm, Strahovski is a gush-worthy goddess/Strahovski is off-topic in this thread, whatever... Take ya' pick!
I guarantee a good argument and a rhetorical punching bag for you, all at the reasonable rate of completely free!
Bring it!

Miranda is, to borrow the military parlance, a "combat multiplier." Her broad range of tech and biotic abilities (not to mention the direct effect of her class skill) serve to make the entire squad exponentially more effective, in addition to her own arithmetic contribution to the team.
Put another way: as a fighter she's alright, as a squad-member she's the best.
I think that fits exactly with the ME2 implementation, and I would like to see it continue. As Ieldra points out, uber fighters are a dime a dozen anyway. What Miranda does is different, smarter, more tactical.
