As far as I know, I can only do that if I recruit Zaeed after the SM. My problem, however, was that I couldn't get to the SM without recruiting him.Athayniel wrote...
You can do Zaeed's LM and kill him during the course of it.

Yeah, I went to the wiki to check what dialogue option you had to choose and I saw that it is only available after the SM... which I think is a bit of a cop out. I think it would have added to the game to allow it before hand too.jtav wrote...

Too late. Already replayed the bunch of LMs and deleted the old save. But thanks for the hint. If I run into problems again, I'll do that. Heh...fate seem to conspire against me to make this "Miranda will hold the line again" run difficult. I've replayed parts of the game three times now....jtav wrote...
Ieldra, you should be able to kill him off via Gibbed.
@Athayniel:
No, that doesn't count.

Killing people off via Gibbed doesn't work in the SM. They still appear in the cutscenes and they will still talk during the "Hold the Line" segment.Ieldra2 wrote...

BtW, here's a rare screenie.

And I was talking about killing people off via Gibbed before starting the SM.
@jtav:
You want to know if what she says when holding the line is different if she'll die? Maybe I can bring myself to Gibbed her loyalty, but no guarantee.

Just for my own edification, where chronologically do you folks typically play the DLCs? Normandy Cash Site, Overlord and Firewalker can be anywhere along the course of the game of course, but do you prefer to play through LotSB and Arrival before the SM or after? How do you feel the order affects a romance with Miranda? I'm trying to choose the order for my Mirimancing playthrough.

That is not what I meant. I meant to say that Miri is Superior.
I just posted the image so that I may remind others how Beautiful our LI is, compared to others, and to just post a picture (an INCREDIBLY Sexy picture mind you:wub:) of our Feme Fatale:wub:.

I usualy do Arrival after the SM and LotSB right before the IFF, u do get some unique dialoge about your ME 2 LI at the end of LotSB..

My infiltrator did everything before the IFF mission and Arrival does have dialogue with Hackett at the end to account for not doing the SM first. I remember jtav wishing to do a playthrough where her Shep did Arrival first as well.

Only after the SM.
I think they were afraid that it would be a spoiler if you are playing ME2 as a brand-new player. Seeing Zaeed in red on the squad screen with loyalty reading "dead" would be a give-away about what would hapen later on the SM.
Yeah, my Troll Shep used Zaeed a ton, had him successfully lead the 1st fireteam during the SM (Garrus's own fault he couldn't calibrate the security console and got himself shot in the face), had her life saved by him when she ran to the ship.... and left him to die in a fire. rofl

Jacob: We're just supposed to let the Collectors have the crew?
Miranda: That's exactly what we're supposed to do. The mission comes first. The crew knew that when they signed on.

Well, I'm certainly glad she never said that to me...
Why? The mission is stopping the Collectors from harvesting and slaughtering tens of thousands of human beings, which you already know at the time. Of course, you end up discovering that the base is intended to process maybe millions more...
She's recommending giving yourself the best chance of stopping that, rather than rushing after the crew while you are relatively unprepared.
