Permission for a "no guts, no glory" prediction?

Be my guest. Obviously, I am in favor of such things Image IPB

Remember when I said you might rescue her from being implanted like Grayson was? She might bear the scars of that. Think Seven of Nine. I do think almost any shot of Miranda would be a spoiler because of the Cerberus logo issue.

Yes, I think, to be blunt, that making Miranda more ugly is one of the likely choices. Using the seven of nine example, no doubt she would clean up pretty good in the end and become conventionally attractive again, but with a twist.

Personally, I would be in favor of this type of approach. I think it's one of the best/most interesting things that could be done with Miranda.

Keeping in mind that something of this nature is quite possible, I am indifferent to the Ashley re-design.

You wouldn't be having the problem if you let Ash die on Virmire tough...

It would certainly be visually striking without making her repellent. I'm rather fond of the idea.

And I'm not having a problem. I can tell them apart just fine. But Joe Q. Gamer will have two catsuit-wearing women with shoulder-length dark hair. You really need some striking detail to set them apart.

Right, but Miranda's re-design (whatever it is) would likely be story-driven, so it wouldn't matter if Kaidan or Ashley were around, i.e. the "how do we tell them apart?" problem was never really a problem, from a game development perspective. Stuff like this is why speculating about these things can be so difficult in the absence of information. It's so easy to make inaccurate assumptions.

Honestly, what gave me the idea was Vertigo's "no visor" mod where she still has the thing above her eye. And I've always wanted to mar Miranda's good looks.

To follow this line of brazen speculation in another direction, I suppose her new/unique tech power would be implant-related. Which would be pretty damn awesome, to be truthful.

Yeah, it would be very awesome. Though the implant thing is probably way off base since she already has a lot to do, narratively speaking.

True, but it would be related. Certainly to Cerberus, but potentially also to Lazarus, since some of the same tech might be used on her, as far as making her partly synthetic. It's already a bit of a theme where Cerberus is concerned (TIM's eyes, etc.).

Regardless, I think we can be forgiven for having a little fun speculating in the absence of news Image IPB

And it would certainly fit with past Cerberus practice of wanting to punish traitors while still making use of them. And for a non-resigned Miranda, they could attempt to forcibly implant her so she's on board with the new direction.

While the whole Seven of Nine approach could be interesting I'm sort of tired of Cerberus sticking Reaper tech into anything and everything. If the narrative wasn't so serious I'd start thinking that they were Aperture Science.

Minuteman Station, Cerberus R&D Labs

Scientist: As you can see Miss Lawson, my department has been making great strides in adapting the techology from Sovereign's wreckage.

Miranda: Doctor, all I see is a coffee pot. That is hardly anything extraordinary.

Scientist: Ah, but it is a coffee pot that utilizes Reaper technology. Other than the fact that it has on several occasions attempted to murder us we believe that with continued refinements it can be a potent tool in Cerberus' arsenal.

Miranda: It's a bloody appliance!

Scientist: Yes, but its an incredibly lethal appliance that is arguably sentient. What's the worst that could happen?

Well, this is the organisation that is hellbent on bringing you tomorrow's lethal coffee pots today, so it makes sense.

It's practically their mission statement Image IPB

And, well, I'm for anything that brings out Miranda's more angsty, tortured side. Though a less drastic appearance change is to put her mostly in black. The loyalty outfit brings out her pallor nicely.

Yeah, but as speculation goes, it's pretty tame compared with "she is now partially synthetic, implanted with Reaper tech and has red renegade eyes." LoL.

Since we're going to speculate anyway, might as well make it count Image IPB

But, yeah, a black and gold outfit would probably do in a pinch Image IPB

Actually, if she goes all cyborg, I'm seeing cluster of silvery metal on her temple or cheeks. Also, the black hi-res outfit is certainly arresting. (Read: Wow. She looks good)

Here she is sitting in the back seat of the skycar listening to Shepard try to talk Garrus out of killing Sidonis. She looks more as though she's eavesdropping on some good gossip ;)

Miranda's hot, I hope she can sleep with a female Shepard, because I would totally be into seeing that.

how will the game handle characters who didn't complete their loyalty missions in ME-2? I'm assuming Oriana will not be mentioned in ME-3 once Miranda shows up?

I would love if FemShep could romance Miranda but I can't get thru Freedom's Progress with FemShep's voice.....and I couldn't imagine Miranda laying down with that character anyway.....so sad.....
