Love her. Wish I didn't, but there it is.

Why would you wish you didn't? I know she doesn't exactly conform to your moral standards, but why then did you come to like her in  the first place?

Still trying to decide whether to risk a full romance game.

You still haven't got one? That's surprising.

Well, the image is Wrex-inspired, definitely. But it could still be the generic Krogan MP avatar that is pictured here. Given the rest of the image, and the color scheme, not to mention the apparent nature of the revealed information, I think that's pretty plausible.

@Ieldra. I've done the romance 6-7 times over, but I got a new comp and didn't transfer saves. I am only just now getting around to import games and am debating whether I want a romance.

And I wish I wasn't attached to her because I'd take a smaller role rather hard, more so if I previously expected a large one.

Than never to have loved at all.

Well, there's a silver lining. The male soldier on the left seems to be wearing a Cerberus armor. Maybe...just maybe...

I'll probably pass, because the OXM said that it'll be played on Xbox Live, so it wouldn't be a coop, since the coop could be playing offline too. And I'm not going to spend money over the Live.

Well, also on the bright side, it will be entertaining to sit back and watch the ****storm unfold...

Edit: heh, yeah, I see what you mean... More likely a generic avatar, I think. But you never know.

::sigh:: finally played a ME-2 save where I romanced Miranda and ::gasp:: broke it off.......i feel wierd.....i still havent done LotSB, so i'm assuming i'll be open to romance Liara? If not, let me kno before I make a fool of myself.....if I romance Liara and import this save, will I get the catfight in ME-3?

How would we know?.

I say if you broke the Miranda romance off, then you won't get a romance conflict in ME3. Unless it's possible to reactivate the romance in ME3.

lolll....obviously u wouldn't kno, just throwing it out there......i wonder if we can swing two romance scenes in ME-3, since Liara will most likely be on my team the whole time....then I can break it off and get with Miranda when she shows up later on and right before the big bad Reaper fight....PA-DOW....yea, i like that idea.....

LOL. You know you could do that in ME2 with three romances? Never saw the attraction, though. If I want to romance a character at all, I'll dedicate a whole playthrough to him or her. Or several, in Miranda's case.

3? how so? Jack then LoTSB then Miranda?

I could only get thru one Jack romance save. I hated the conversations with her: "Why are you asking me questions about my past? URGH!!"...."I want to kno you Jack"...."URggghhhh, i'm so angry"....."so you like tatoos?"

I cannot see why Shep likes her at all. And then they teased us with Samara: regal, elegant, crazy biotics, well traveled, it's like a 1000 year old Miranda in Asari skin......but no no no, you can't have any of that......I won't even approach a Tali-mance.....

No, that's a Cerberus soldier wearing the Death Mask.

Samara has Black and White morals and dresses like a comic book superhero. I honestly can't see the appeal.

@CuseGirl:
No, Jack then Tali then Miranda. I don't know if Liara conflicts with existing romances.

BTW, don't take me the wrong way. I dislike Tali's romance and I hate Jack's romance (that dislike doesn't extend to the characters as such). I agree about Jack's, and yes, I would've liked a Samara romance. I just wanted to see the others I don't do on my own screen, because it's a different experience than seeing them on YT.

My ME3-ready saves are:
maleShep: 2x Ashley->Miranda, 2x none->Miranda
femShep: 1x none-Jacob, 1x Kaidan->none, 1x Liara->Liara, 1x none->none

she doesn't have black and white morals, she just won't betray her code. Even while labeling her daughter a monster, she was proud of her fighting to the last second. She's not as black and white as she seems. And come on, if Samara dresses like a comic book hero, wut is this:

Samara's was very nice, but to the extent it works, it's because of the non-consummation. Tali and Jack's make me uncomfortable. Liara'is very good, but I prefer her with FemShep. I have a very complicated relationship with Miranda's. Like the concept of romancing her, but the execution is unsatisfying, which is why I'm wondering if it's worth a playthrough.

To me the space paladin concept is ok in and of itself, but not a good concept for a squad member in a game like ME. Her whole character revolves around this inflexible code, and the first thing she has to do, when she joins you is... turn off the code. Oups.

To the point where I wonder if the original idea was that you had to choose between Samara and Morinth during the recruitment mission.

Samara works better off-squad imo, or on a specific mission or two, where her code can be an asset, rather than a hindrance to her participation, i.e. certain choices make an enemy of her very, very fast. Which is what I expect we'll see in ME3.

Seriously, the exaggerated comic book-style of some of the outfits has never been an issue for me, whether it be Samara or any of the others.

Fair enough but the Code is black and white and I've always found her choice to follow it and Morinth in expense on her two other children to be deplorable. But that's going off topic.

And come on, if Samara dresses like a comic book hero, wut is this:

I'm not defending the white catsuit but yes, Samara's is worse. Which is even more noticeable when she confronts Morinth.
Pretend that you know nothing about the characters, who in this scene looks more like a sexy succubus?

Image IPB

And it's not just the way Samara dresses, it's also the way other Asari act towards her. "You can kill me but one of us will take you down, Justicar!" I mean, really?

MisterJB: Asari mercs only hate Samara bcuz they their time is limited as soon as she walks in. I'm sure the whole "wiped out a whole village" story is known among the Asari, so they kno to act right in her presence.

And trust me, I dont mind Miranda or Samara outfit at all, altho I realize Miranda's outfit is designed in such a way that your eyes are drawn to her chest. Morinth wears black cuz she's evil, plain and simple.....

Ieldra2: I think I'm gonna grin and bear one Tali-mance just to say I did it....and that means I gotta make sure I dont get her killd, cuz i always choose her for the Collector vents....When u say "Jack then Tali then Miranda", you mean Jack's renegade scene, then how would Tali and Miranda fit in? I thought both of those scenes happened right before the SM.

How would you feel about Jack's and Miranda's romances if they were with femShep? Would they have a different tone do you think? A lot of people feel that Kelly's romance "feels" different with femShep even though Jen Hale and Mark Meer work off the same script.

Hmm, I wonder what you'll do with those saves in ME3? Right now I try to do a similar m!Shep like you have - ME Ashley -> ME2 Miranda. That will be my first playthrough with switching relationships.

So I wonder what you're planning to do with those two male Shepards? Do you plan to have one Shepard going from Ashley to Miranda and stay with Miranda in ME3 - and the other one returning to Ashley? Just wanna know, both paths sound interesting, especially if both women will face each other and the player is forced to decide for one of them. Both have pro's and con's (multiplies if you're fan of one or both of them).

*is lurking again* :innocent:

Jack's would squick the hell out of me regardless, but I'm a longtime advocate of Miranda/fShep.

And right now, I could use some Miranda news. *mopes*

Actually, the way my infiltrator Shepard played was very much inline with the way I would envisage Samara acts. Highly protective of innocents and random civilians. Absolutely ruthless against those who prey on the former. Take Thane's recruitment mission as an example. When the renegade interrupt to push the merc through the window comes up my infiltrator took it even though she already had a mostly full paragon bar. This guy had orchestrated an coordinated the killing of the dozens of innocent salarian construction workers and was being flippant and blase about the entire thing. I think if Shepard hadn't pushed him out the window Samara would have.

Don't get me wrong... I like Samara's outfit. I like it a lot, but I wouldn't have been put out if there hadn't been any cleavage. She definitely looks better in black too. And to be honest I don't like the shoulders at all...

Anyways. The heels have to be there because of the scaling of the animation rig or I would be raging against them myself. It's ridiculous to have women running in heels let alone fighting. I like to explain their catsuits as biotically enhanced armour that 'feeds off' their natural mass effect fields.
