Good question. Hard to say, basing ourselves in the command structure of Cerberus, it would seem that Miranda is ok with the power being concentrated on one ruler as long as it has been proven that that person is competent and has the best interests of the community in mind.
Of course, leading Cerberus is very different from leading society and her oppinion could vary wildly.
A meritocrat, maybe?

Here's a summary of the BW ME NY Comic Con event, not sure if it has been posted already.

A fan asked Mac (Walters) to elaborate on other characters and how they'll pop into ME3.
He said that if they were more significant in past games, they'll be at least as important in Mass Effect 3.

Hopefully Miranda is just as improtant to him/BW, as she is to me/us...

Thanks for posting the summary, AstronautN7. The remark by Mac Walters is a bit vague for me to get too excited, but it should be good news where Miranda is concerned.

Anyways, I just finished my Perfect playthrough of ME2, and now that I'm done with it, all I need to do is wait for ME3, and a thought hit me. What scenario ARE we gonna see Miranda in ME3? I've seen people speculating she will be leading a group of Ceberus rebels to take down Cerberus bases around the galaxy, and that could possibly be what she is doing.
Edit: @Jtav: fine, I'll take it down. But please find some better Miri pics. Deal?

Well, that's the 10 million dollar question. I think the scenario you're referring to is pretty plausible. And potentially very awesome. Her "Cerberus Officer" passive would probably be renamed "Cerberus Renegade" to account for the change. Also really cool.

I imagine her look would be a lot less polished, due to living and fighting on the run.

I know that worries you, jtav. But I can't really share your concern. Reason being these design choices would be made after the story was plotted out and decisions made as to what role the characters are going to play. So, either they wrote Miranda out of the story, or they didn't. That's the only relevant point, really. If they didn't, then the designers will do whatever is necessary to make the two characters visually distinct.

yeah, BW both said that Ash and Kaidon both matured, so you can't blame them for getting Ash long hair. Besides, if BW changed Miri, we'd go ballistic and start a rebellion.

Actually, I'm mostly pissed off on Ash's behalf right now. I like both. But they aren't the same, and I don't want the same things from them. So now I have motivation to redo Virmire.

But Ashley looking like Miranda; which she does, make no mistake about it; could be an indication that they wrote Miranda off.
Makes it hard for me not to resent Ashley. And the truth is that most Ashley fans are no happier with this change than we are. What the hell is Bioware doing?

What MisterJB said, minus the resentment and more "What the hell did they do to Ash?" Miranda looks like a field test for Ash, even the AA compared to Ash's armor.
