Yeah, one that BW needs to keep looking at every night of their crunch on making ME3.flemm wrote...

Anyone get the feeling Jtav is going to bring in another pessimism/random happiness point on Miranda anytime now?(no offense to Jtav)

sorry, it just usually happens once a while(yesterday was letting Ash die on Virmire, but then who hasn't at least once with the exception of the huge ash fans and those that didn't get pissed off on horizon, so sorry)jtav wrote...
I can hear you, you know. And I have bigger things to fret over regarding ME3. Origin seems to be bloody required and that's a lot bigger than Miranda.

The game will be the same regardless of what program you have to use to launch it. For that reason i think that having Miranda as a squadmate (game changing issue) is more pressing then having to use origin.
I understand its annoying to have to use Origin but it will not effect gameplay and therefore i personally am going to get over it. I care about the game more so then the program that launches it.

I'm still pissed about horizon( that's why my canon Shep leaves her for Miranda) yet, I STILL nuke Kaiden on Virmire every single time!

I've only nuked Ash once, and that was for my Liara romance, but usually I nuke Kaidan.(we'll see how they are in ME3, then some people probably have changed views over the horizon thing, but for me, we'll see.)raziel1980 wrote...

so kaidan survived 3 times and died once? the exact opposite of what I did.jtav wrote...
I call Kaidan my fictional boyfriend for a reason. Not sure what my actual numbers are, but of the saves I plan to import, it's 3-1 Kaidan. I was just questioning whether it should be 4-0.

speaking of LIs, how do you guys think the romance from ME2(if not Liara,Tali, or Garrus) will play out? All I'm getting is that only the original squad is acknoledging the romance(ash, Kaidan, Garrus, Tali, and of course Liara), while the other LIs info are in the dark.jtav wrote...
I like Kaidan about as much as I do Miranda. Those two and Liara are the three characters that really make ME worth playing.

I'm 6-0 Ash... (3-0 male sheps, 2-0 femshep imports( my femsheps find him boring though one was romancing him..but still couldn't tolerate him so decided to nuke him n go for either Thane or Garrus in ME 2( haven't decided which way I'm going with that one), 1-0 mass effect genesis femshep).
edit: on the subject of origin...as SOON as I'm done playing ME 3 every night after release , I will be cutting that program off of my computer and will deny it any sort of access beyond what I will use for...which is play ME 3 n ME 3 only!

Interesting combo. Kaidan and Liara are cool with me, but they don't really interest me on the same level that characters like Mordin and Miranda do.

Bran, have you read the Origin EULA. I'm concerned about my privacy, which I rate rather higher than even Miranda.
You should be worried. Origin is the most intrusive and vile pieces of software put out by a major company that I've come across so far. The only news is that they've removed the part where they snag every piece of information they can from you computer and "reserve the right" to sell it to 3rd party companies down the road. Now they just keep it for themselves (so they say).
Just absolutely horrible. If no further action is taken to remove what is essentially spyware capabilites from Origin, I will not be purchasing this game until I can set up an isolated system to run it on. EIther that or find a good software based way of isolating it. And you can bet I'll keep my save file and reformat as soon as I'm done with a couple play throughs.

What confuses me is that EA has their own download store and access to what is arguably the de-facto online game store: Steam. Other than being able to dictate their own terms of service it makes little sense to introduce a service that only offers one publisher's catalog of games.
Anyway, writing time:
Shepard: So, how did that new cell of yours work out?
Miranda: It was going so well but then it just happened to go rogue.
Shepard: Really? I've never heard of that happening before.
Miranda: I know, one minute everything was fine and the next the Illusive Man wasn't in control.
