Seems like there's a lot of people ready to dump Miranda for Ash. I'm not surprised, but frustrated as someone who likes Miranda for her personality.

yeah, if she doesn't become a squadmate for a long time at least, we will rebel.
Besides, whoever is the next female squadmate is probably Miranda(you know, it would explain why Bioware is keeping mum about her.)

And if Miranda isn't on the squad...I'll complain. That's it really. If they mangle her, I'll complain louder and not buy additional DLC.

Perhaps, though the precise status of this is a subject of much discussion, and it's possible that there may be further developments in ME3.

Which reminds me: there's another player in these romance dramas: the ME3 LIs. Wonder how they'll handle the confrontations?

Oh, on that subject... LoL. I am essentially rooting for a makeover towards a more battle-scarred, rough and ragged Miranda in ME3. I say "essentially" because I don't really care that much about the look either way. If it doesn't change, that's fine, too.

I'm still not super convinced that lovers' quarrels will really be a big factor in the game. And I can't say I really want them to be. Two LIs clashing over substance (Ashley and Miranda over Cerberus/Alliance stuff, for example), that I would like to see because it's important to the story.

But I don't really care about seeing a cat fight or anything similar. For any new LIs in ME3, those relationships would need time to develop, so I honestly wouldn't expect anything much more dramatic than the type of thing we see in ME2. It would just be really incongruous to have a big lovers' quarrel right before confronting the Reapers and determining the fate of all sentient life in the galaxy. Priorities lol.

it will probably be more or less like the loyalty confrontations that Miranda/Jack and Tali/Legion would probably have(more or less, but probably more civilized).

I'd actually like it if Miranda were mildly disfigured, but I've always loved Beauty and the Beast stories. And Shepard could either be a jerkass or prove he cares beyond the obvious. Miranda would be dumbfounded, I think.

anyways, if you romanced Ash in ME1, but romanced Miranda in ME2, you are totally justified(plus Miranda is better).
