Here's what was supposed to happen this game:
S: Cerberus! *growls* I don't trust you!
M: *saves him from thresher maw*
S: Well, I guess *you* aren't so bad...
What happened:
M: *shoots Wilson*
S: Marry me? *wears Cerberus uniform proudly*
Wasn't it more like:
S:
M: Wake up! We gotta go or we're gonna blow up!
S: Ok I guess that makes sense
Later...
M: *shoots Wilson*
S: WTF??
M: Spycheck (bam TF2 reference!)
S: Oh I guess that makes sense.
TIM: You gotta fight the collectors.
S: **** that! Cerberus sucks!
TIM: We can give you the Normandy and Joker back. Also the reapers are still coming and you'd be dead without us.
S: Oh. I guess that makes sense.
M: Don't talk to me.
S: ...
Much later...
M: Wow you saved my sister and you're totally commited to this mission. I guess you're not an opportunistic douchebag after all.
S: Wow you have genuine feelings and you really want to make a difference. I guess you aren't an complete monster ice queen **** after all.
M: Cool. Now what?
S: I should go.

Besides, whoever is the next female squadmate is probably Miranda(you know, it would explain why Bioware is keeping mum about her.)

And if Miranda isn't on the squad...I'll complain. That's it really. If they mangle her, I'll complain louder and not buy additional DLC.

here is a question: if they **** up ME3, would you still buy DA3?(you know, would you give BW another chance?)jtav wrote...
Not everything I say is about squad status. It was a "men are pigs" moment.

Yes, I just meant in general. I guess I was having a "I am a man and, yes, I am a pig" moment

Oops. I hope this misunderstanding isn't common. As Cordelia explains, it's only the "natural biotics" genecomplex that propagates itself and won't be diluted. All of Miranda's descendants will be natural biotics, but otherwise as diverse as usual.
Just realised this. Miranda can't have children and therefore won't have any descendants. It says so in the LOTSB dossiers. Unless she ends up with an Asari.

Perhaps, though the precise status of this is a subject of much discussion, and it's possible that there may be further developments in ME3.

Must..resist...advertising...OTP.
And miranda could grow her own children like her father did her. And that's a worst-case scenario.

Which reminds me: there's another player in these romance dramas: the ME3 LIs. Wonder how they'll handle the confrontations?

Oh, on that subject... LoL. I am essentially rooting for a makeover towards a more battle-scarred, rough and ragged Miranda in ME3. I say "essentially" because I don't really care that much about the look either way. If it doesn't change, that's fine, too.

I'm still not super convinced that lovers' quarrels will really be a big factor in the game. And I can't say I really want them to be. Two LIs clashing over substance (Ashley and Miranda over Cerberus/Alliance stuff, for example), that I would like to see because it's important to the story.
But I don't really care about seeing a cat fight or anything similar. For any new LIs in ME3, those relationships would need time to develop, so I honestly wouldn't expect anything much more dramatic than the type of thing we see in ME2. It would just be really incongruous to have a big lovers' quarrel right before confronting the Reapers and determining the fate of all sentient life in the galaxy. Priorities lol.

it will probably be more or less like the loyalty confrontations that Miranda/Jack and Tali/Legion would probably have(more or less, but probably more civilized).jtav wrote...
Well, I am, ah, keeping my options open if the worst happens. Probably a sudden attack of bisexuality regarding Kaidan. But that's if the character goes bad, not her looks. And it would have to be very bad indeed.

anyways, if you romanced Ash in ME1, but romanced Miranda in ME2, you are totally justified(plus Miranda is better).
To all of the Ash fans, good luck on your conquest.
