So true Image IPB[/quote]

This would have been me, kinda:

Miranda: "I'm not looking for a friend.  Stay focused on the mission."

Shepard: *thinks to himself* "Aw man. What should I say next. I've gotta say something to her, without sounding like an idiot.":o

I don't think so. Shooting Wilson is nothing your average CIA agent wouldn't have done. That's a world away from torturing children and being asked to kill the person you spent two years of your life rebuilding.

This is the same woman who will callously gun down Niket and Wilson?

One a danger to her sister and the other a man who killed her staff. Both traitors.

I don't buy it. She knows what Cerberus does and has for a long time. I agree that she draws a line, but I don't think she was ever as "onboard" with Cerberus as she thought she was.

Like I said, she loved the idea and respected Cerberus' zeal, but was still at heart an outsider.

The way she speaks of Cerberus at the beginning of the game seem to make it clear that she was fully on board. She even speaks of crossing lines in a light heartedly manner. Events during ME2 must have shaken her faith.
One way or the other, a person doesn't have to agree with all of Cerberus' actions in order to be a nationalist.

Miri isn't part of of Cerberus anymore. That is all that matters between Miri and Cerberus, for those who prefer that outcome in ME3 that is, like me.

Do you work for the CIA? I'm pretty sure shooting Wilson at that point would be frowned upon and possibly illegal. He wasn't even given a chance to surrender.

Well, movie!CIA anyway. And it is still different in kind from what was done to Jack and what she was asked to do to Shepard. The former is ruthless. The latter is monstrous.

Here's a question, if you don't take Miranda into the final battle, does she quit Cerberus? I don't take her, never heard the line, I wonder if that holds or doesn't in the export.

She only resigns if you take her to the final battle and choose to destroy the base.

However, in all scenarios (where she survives the SM), her loyalty to Cerberus appears to waver (though less drastically than in the above situation).

Example: if you choose to keep the base, she will not resign, but afterward, she will explain that she is having some doubts about "our goals." Meaning "Cerberus' goals," since Shep has not really broken away from TIM yet either, in that scenario.

Edit: clarity.

No, she doesn't say it, but I imagine you'll have the same outcome.

She's still with Cerberus for me. And I hope she ends with Cerberus, only in charge. I'll push her as Renegade as I can, probably well past my comfort point.

Thank you Flemm....I always destroy the base, but never have Miranda with me...So that would mean, her doubts about Cerberus will still play a part in ME3 in my games, but she probably hasn't resigned?

You're welcome Image IPB

Well, we don't know for sure. I expect she will be at odds with Cerberus in all games where she survives. That just seems to be where the story is headed. However, other possibilities can't be ruled out.

It's also possible, as jtav suggests, that her longterm goal might be defeating TIM and taking control of the organisation. Or she might just be hellbent on destroying it. You never know.

It will be very interesting to see...I am hoping BW has maybe been able to account for quite a number of outcomes.

Tbh, I think the three versions will be:

Dead, Alive, and Alive + Romance Flag. But you're right, it will be interesting to see. With Miranda there is more room for doubt and multiple scenarios than for the other characters.

Another question: I recently finished my Paragade export for ME3 (though thinking of re-doing for other reasons entirely)...I RP'ed my Paragde Shep to vehmently hate Cerberus and anybody supporting Cerberus, so including Miranda. He does her LM and I was originally going to have him not encourage Miranda to speak with her sister (his reasoning, protect Oriana from her sister) but the crack in his voice when he says "Okay" and the extreme sadness on Miranda's face had me reload...I just couldn't do it...seemed way too cruel...He does eventually burn her savagely in another way, but couldn't deny Miranda her sister....But question is, have any of you not encouraged Miranda to speak with her sister?...And how did that make you feel?

If u Shepard hates Miranda, then why should you care that?
