Wow, I never realised the Au accent was popular. Maybe Miranda's accent just urks me because I'm from Australia.
Some of the things she says make me facepalm, especially when she uses 'bloody' in a line. I think her regional dialect is NSW?

There are a million reasons not to jump into a thread at page 767, but. I really loved this deviantART image of her.

On the topic of friendship:
Miranda: Kasumi, I heard from Shepard that the digital photo that I took of myself and gave to Shepard for his birthday went missing.
Kasumi: Oh, really? I hadn't heard.
Miranda: Mhmm. I just wanted to let you know that I consider you to be one of my closest friends Kasumi. Thus...I would be absolutely heartbroken if you were to be found hanging on a noose in Jack's lair, disemboweled, eyes gouged out and skin removed by one of Mordin's fancy acids. Wouldn't you agree, Miss Goto?
Kasumi *pales significantly*: Err...um...yeah. That's...horrible.
Miranda: Great talking to you Kasumi. See you later at dinner! *Gives Kasumi a lingering kiss on her forehead before leaving*
*One hour later*
Shepard *enters Miranda's office to talk to her*: Hey Miri, I found the pic you gave me! It was in one of my desk drawers the whole time!
Miranda *smiles slyly*: I'm sure it was.
The pic in question is this one. (WARNING: NSFW)

If you guys have seen the recent and pretty funny outbreak of the beta, would you guys be open to the idea of Miranda having similar armor to the one Ashley has? It has a "light" armor type feel to it, while still expressing it in a feminine way. I personally wouldn't mind Miranda rocking one in black and white, maybe even having a unique logo (something regarding future plans, new Cerberus, etc), instead of an Alliance one.

tried to do a banter. I hope it doesn't suck too much.
Miranda arrives at the remodeled Alliance Normandy...

Vega: That's impressive Lt. You just broked the record.
Ashley: My dad teached me how to shoot a gun when I was little. This isn't impressive, really.
(Shepard and Miranda enters the room)
Shepard: And this is our new shooting gallery. Oh, Vega, Ash, I'm seeing that you are doing some target practce.
Vega: Commander, guess what. The Lt. just broked your record.
Miranda: This room used to be my office. And now your using it just to show off some ego?
Ashley: What's the matter Lawson. Didn't they teach you how to shoot when you were in Cerberus?
(Miranda grabs the pistol then empties the thermal clip. Getting a perfect score).
Miranda: (glares at Shepard) I`m taking my things to your cabin. I hope that you already gave me clearance.
(Miranda leaves the room. Ashley looks at Shepard)
Shepard: I knew it was impossible to convince her to use a sleeping pod. I better go up there. I'll see you in the CIC (Shepard leaves).
Vega: Ma'am-
Ashley: Don't worry Corporal. I'm not jealous. I've already get over it.
Vega: Actually, what I wanted to tell you, is that she beated your record by 0.4 seconds.
-----------------------------------------------------
I don't know what is Vega's rank. It couldn't be an officer rank, so corporal should be ok for him.

mmm... nothing new about Miranda... I'm starting to feel that we really have to wait until march.
Why dont we make something to keep the moral up and rising? Like a party banter contest.

It might work - if the cleavage is removed. Exposing exactly the body area where a hit is most likely to result in death is stupid. It's like painting a target on yourself for enemy snipers to exploit.spiros9110 wrote...

Can you elaborate? So far I don't really understand why your being from Australia would cause Miranda's accent to bother you.

I think we'll see a return of the hexagon pattern, though, with thicker fabric and a more 3d look to it like all the new outfits.

Nah, he probably considers himself a more 'cultured' Australian. 'Bloody' is a colloquialism that we inherited from the Brits and never really lost. A useful adjective, really. And yep, her accent is Southern Highlands, New South Wales. Campelltown if you want to be specific, less than half an hour from where I live. The residents of that city are noted for their voices just being so bloody pleasant to listen to. Used to have a baby-sitter who'd just start reading to me and I'd go

When has Bioware let realism ever get in the way of their outfit designs? If they can let Miranda run around in her default outfit in ME2 while being *undercover* for Cerberus, they won't hesitate to make her more recognizable by giving her something that hearkens back to her ME2 outfit in some way. She'll have lost the Cord-Hislop logo and since ME3 appears to have toned down the comic-book design, she'll look a lot more realistic, but I think we can expect her new outfit to keep one easily recognizeable aspect from her ME2 outfit.flemm wrote...

Possibly, but I sort of doubt it, actually. Reason being that Miranda's situation will likely have changed a lot, she may have resigned from Cerberus and be on the run from her old boss, so I would think she would have a very different look to account for that.
