Even though it would be great story telling, part of me hopes there won't be that much confrontation between the VS and Miranda, or at least an option for me to tell them that I trust both of them. My CanonShep really does think Miranda's trustworthy, but he'd always side with Ashley if it came down to a choice. Damn you for making me care, BioWare.

Gotta disagree with you only because we don't know how competent she really is. Especially compared to someone like Mordin. I wish I knew if she had any kind of traning whenn it comes to medicine to be sure.

I wouild think that knowing dosage amount of sedatives on a recently dead person that has been brought back requires some degree of medical understanding.

With those logs we can definitely say that she has no biological knowledge. After all the project was her baby, so she doesn't need to learn about human anatomy and implants.

Miranda *urgently*: Stack up now! *flattens against wall*

*Vega silently follows suit*

Shepard *loudly as he strolls to Miranda's position*: Seriously Grunt? You put the yellow sauce on those Tastee Bites? Nobody does that!

Grunt *strolling beside Shepard*: Hey! It's great. I can't believe a great battlemaster would choose such a weak sauce like the brown one you always pick!

Shepard *snorts*: Grunt please. Everyone picks the brown sauce because it just brings out the flavor and texture so much better-

Miranda *annoyed*: Shush! This is a stealth mission!

Shepard: ...Why?

Miranda: Because if we go in guns blazing, we're dead! Now stack up! *makes hand motions frantically*

Grunt *completely confused*: What is that?

Miranda *frustrated snarl and she demonstrates all the hand signals*: This hand motion is for stack up, this is for breach that door, and this means shut the hell up or I'll punch your lights out! *makes fist and fires up her biotics*

Shepard: So Miri, you want us to breach that door?

Miranda: Yes, QUIETLY!

*Shepard looks at Grunt, who looks back before both shrug*

Shepard: Hokay. *tosses grenade which wedges itself in the gap below the door, blows up and forces the door open*

*Shepard and Grunt nonchalantly walk into the room, firing their weapons casually*

Miranda: Goddammit!!! *facepalms*

Vega *taps Miranda on the shoulder, she wheels around to face him*: Um...should I still be stacking up?

Anyways, concerning Miranda's role, I'm pretty damn sure that she'll have a very big role in ME3, and if it's not ME2 sized, it should probably be larger than LoTSB sized. If even a relatively useless character like Tali can get a big role, there shouldn't be much doubt that someone as important as Miranda can get an even larger role.

...Unless Bioware decides to be absolutely retarded once again and screw it all up.

The awkward thing is bringing grunt to a stealth mission. If something is stealth you have to bring Thane and Kasumi, not Grunt.

Hah, Miranda is already noted as an example there (unless you added her yourself just now):

"Miranda, from Mass Effect, is called an Ice Queen by Wilson at the beginning of the game (...before she kills him), but she warms up to Shepard considerably during the course of the game. And of course there's the relationship she has with her sister, Oriana."

lollll...Grunt can barely fit thru a doorway, why would Shep bring him on a mission where u need to be quiet and quick? lollllll

Ashley: "Before I submit to another second of your thinly veiled b*tchery, I'm -"
Shepard: "Enough! What's going on here?"
Ashley: Ask Miranda. This little pow wow was her idea."
Miranda: "The correct assignment of personnel is an undeniably important concern, Shepard. We mustn't allow the bravado and ego of a single individual to compromise an otherwise cohesive unit. As I was explaining to Lt. Williams, she may better serve the mission in a more informal capacity."
Ashley: "It's Lt. Commander. And you've no jurisdiction over an XO of an Alliance vessel."
Shepard: "Just calm down, both of you. We all have to cooperate here. No one's being demoted and the mission is too important to let egos get in the way. I'm talking to both of you."
Miranda: "I appreciate your trying to defuse the situation Shepard, but the issue remains. Lt. Commander Williams has proven herself detrimential to team chemistry."
Ashley: "Are you insane? Has a bullet to the chest finally ruptured your silicone implants?"
Shepard: "Ashley!"
Ashley: "Oh, come on. We don't have to pretend that her silicone valley isn't the cheap work of some creepy Dr. Liposuction back on Earth. An open discussion should finally encourage her to cover up."
Miranda: "And this is exactly what I mean. She can't lead a squad into battle with this attitude. No one will follow a leader who's hostility towards them is greater than their hostility towards the enemy. She'll derail a mission before it can even begin and because of what? Misplaced and baseless hatred? Jealousy?"
Ashley: "As long as you're not assigned to my squad, I don't see there being any such problems. And me Jealous of you? That's ridiculous!"
Miranda: "Is it? My intelligence and versatility are valuable assets to this team, more so than the talents of a narrowly specialized soldier, no matter their rank, Lt. Commander Williams."
Ashley: "Versatility...I believe it. I'm sure there's a strip club on the edge of town where you could put your wide array of talents to use. You may have all the advantages in the galaxy, but you still haven't got an ounce of class."
Shepard: "This ends now! What's gotten into the two of you? Ashley get back to your station! Miranda, no more squad interventions! You two are to keep a deck apart at all times. Do I make myself clear?!"
Ashley: *grudgingly*"Yes, sir."
Miranda: "Aye, aye Commander."

EDIT: Changed Ash to an XO. CO was an oversight. Shepard is still in charge.

Way too much verbage and very immature on both sides.....Silicone Valley? Stowaway capacity? hmmm.....I hate that the Alliance took over the SR2 Normandy, it's not their ship, it's sorta Cerberus' ship but more so, it's Shep's ship.....I kno people love Ash/Kaiden but I hate that they are the CO......it's not an Alliance Vessel ugh....
