Well, it could be somebody's attempt to piece the plot together, but with a significant chunk of real info on hand. So, parts of it real, parts of it invented to fill in gaps, etc.

For example, I don't believe Garrus is mentioned a single time in the whole thing that I noticed. So, a lot of stuff is definitely missing.

Basically, some users claim to have broken into the files from the beta and have spoiled what is potentially a large portion of the game. If you would like a link, I'd be more than happy to give you one.

Its a beta version of the game Until we hear that the game goes gold nothing is final. As such I'm skeptical.

However after seeing the beta demo video it looks like there's a few points of interest:

- The second part of the demo on Sur'Kesh is related to Mordin's LM. He says that he arrived on Tuchanka too late to stop Maelon's attempt to cure the genophage, suggesting that Shepard didn't do his LM. It is possible that an imported save where Shepard does the LM will change this outcome. This sets a precedent for the outcomes of the LM's in ME2 affecting the ME3 storyline.

- Upon running into a newly promoted Major Kirrahe in the same mission he states that Shepard is planning to build some sort of superweapon along with rallying galactic civilization to his aid. What this superweapon could be is up for speculation.

- Liara makes references to Cerberus being indoctrinated during the mission, although this isn't elaborated on. At the end of the mission Shepard questions a dying Cerberus Trooper about why Cerberus was attacking the facility, but doesn't get a response.

There's not much actual information about where Miranda would appear, just suggestions. There's a lot of detail for certain missions (and therefore certain characters) and very little for other sections of the game.

That said, my honest assessment is that, if the Miranda info in this leak means what it seems to mean, then we could be looking at something very close to a worst-case scenario, by which I mean Miranda appears for a single mission and has no real impact on the big picture. She would show up at an important moment in the game, but that's about the best I can say about it.

The info in the leak could be very incomplete and misleading where Miranda is concerned. But I'm not enthused overall.

There honestly wasn't much said about her level of interaction. It was mostly a VERY brief summary of a mission she's involved in, how you pick up said mission, and what happens when you finally meet her. Meeting her was literally described as "Shepard finds Miranda. They reunite. Story carries on, yadda yadda." So still not too much info there about how much she'll be involved from that point on.

Doesn't really say much about which squaddies you can/can't have on each mission though, but i only briefly skimmed the leak, didn't wanna get TOO spoiled.

It's not coming from a thread that I'm aware of. Basically a bunch of spoilers were apparently data-mined from the beta leak.

I guess maybe I haven't seen all of them, though, since mranderson25 seems to be referring to a chunk of info I haven't seen.

Yeah, some Russian website datamined the leaked beta and found a bunch of story info that basically details all of the major missions/endings/weapons.

HOWEVER, multiple devs have responded saying that while some of these are true, it's mostly old information that has been/will be changed or tweaked. It's been a hell of a weekend for Bioware...lol
