I opened all the spoiler threads and CTRL-F'd "Miranda" and there wasn't much info, just the stuff i already posted. Save yourselves and don't check it out, already saw the potential ending, which looked AWESOME imo, but still spoiled. Doesn't bother me too much though, as i knew the ending of ME2 going into that, and it's still my favorite game ever, so i'm not worried.

Not to start a flame war or anything, but there's just something deeply....wrong about no-personality uber-***** Ashley being a permanent squad mate while Miranda is relegated to temp status. Especially if it's only a single mission. I really hope the spoilers being hinted at are fake. I'll still buy the game no matter what (once I figure out how to disable Origin), but if this is true it DEFINITELY kills any chance of a pre-order from me. I'll wait until it's on sale.

The VS deserves it. It's characters like Garrus and Tali that bother me.
Still, I can live with Miranda being a temporary squadmate as long as she is important to the larger scheme of things.

If Miri is a Temp, then perhaps she will be with us longer than other Temps since she is our LI.

The same goes for players with different LIs who are Temps.

Honestly i think that's how they'll handle it. You have all the separate missions with all the old ME2 squaddies, but when you do your LI's mission, you pick them up and they stay on the Normandy, maybe not necessarily as a full squadmate, but as someone you can interact with on the ship/certain missions.

Thread has been taken down but I have an archive of it as an .htm file. You best open it with a word processing program. I will say that Miranda is not mentioned much.

This to me sounds like a legit way of doing things...though I would like the option( or a mod...most likely a mod) to turn your LI into a full squadmate if they aren't already( for those who have ongoing romances with the VS,Liara, Garrus, n Tali)...

Well, what we all want is interaction with the characters onboard the Normandy (specially the LIs). One of the thing that I want are the conflicts betwen Miranda and Ash ideals.

The HTM file is really messy and needs to be cleaned up. If you want to view it using a program like Notepad++ feel free to do so and drop me a PM, otherwise, wait until I get it properly formatted.

So most of who saw the spoilers would classify Miranda's role as being relatively minor? can't say I wasn't expecting this, the only thing that really gets to me is how characters like Garrus and Tali who basically don't deserve their spots and don't have as much story potential and can die easier than Miranda still become permanent on the squad.

In fact, both of the most discussed endings of Miranda's story arc have gained plausibility, and so far there is some information about how Miranda's involvement in Shepard's activities start, but I have seen nothing about where it ends. Still looking for the original material, though.

The leak reads like how MANY fans can Bioware ****** off at once.
