In any case, I think we all look forward to enjoying Miranda's role in ME3, regardless of how. Differing opinions don't have to lead to arguments :)

I hope she's as important in ME3 as she was in ME2. I enjoyed taking her everywhere and having her get kills along with Shepard. "Enemy down!"

Consider my belief suspended if that happens.

The limits of your ability to suspend belief have been duly noted.

Can we get back to Miranda, please?

Ouch:(

Only if they screw up badly. The items on the "don't want" list are two of three possible scenarios.

And learn to live with the consequences. Paragon shouldn't always be an "I win" button.

This.

It would make sense that being nice and forgiving is gonna come back and bite you in the ass on some occasions, some people didn't deserve this imho, especially those who were fine with murder/torture/experimentation while it was going smoothly but are repenting with a gun to their head.

The choice that most confuses me as being viewed positive is letting the Rachni queen live. Sure she promised to help you and stay out of other's systems, but why exactly are we believing the word of a sentient insect? I mean they are the Zerg of the ME universe, has everyone forgotten the Rachni wars? So I'm very hesitant to allow a race of murderous insects to thrive only because their queen said so.

Do you read fanfic at all? I have a couple of stories you might like.

I'll give em a read it sounds interesting.

I've had some bad experiences looking for good Mass Effect fanfiction. However I've found tons of good Dragon Age fanfic. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough, it could be my personal taste though. I've always been more fantasy than sci-fi.

:slight fanfic rant incoming:

Most of the Mass Effect fanfics I've ran across are pretty character biased, like you can tell they don't like a certain character, and adore another one. That bugs me to death. It is like they make x a Mary Sue and y an imbecile, and just focus on one character's good side and another's bad side. Ignoring any bit of character depth either has. I'm cool with people not liking certain characters, but it grinds my gears like no other when people include them in fanfic just to put them down and stomp on their character, and just use them as their writing pinata.

BUT, I hope that the Romance With Miri will STILL Continue for us Male Players/Male Sheps.

Miri being bi would *not* mean she *needs* to be with women, just that she's open to being with a woman when looking for a relationship. Ugh.

This. Bi =/= lesbian. Those of us with Male Sheps who romanced Miranda will be able to continue the romance if we choose to do so.

Sorry....

But can't a devoted Mirimancer/Mirimaniac be worried about the amount of content he will get with his ONE AND ONLY LI in the ME Series lol?:P

ok. so do we think Miranda is a romantic? do you think she'd do something romantic? say cook shep a meal? or who ever her love interest may happen to be? how do you think she'd respond to being on the receiving end of a romantic dinner?

And it's any more unrealistic than all of them being hot for Shep regardless of personality? Do you know how freeing it is to choose gender for a reason besides romance?

Besides, Rachel has a terrible case of unrequited love.

I know that if Miri were to be available for S/S romance, I'd seriously consider creating a FemShep, even with ME1 being a massive pain.

Miranda, romantic? Again I don't think so. Being an ice cold Cerberus Op for 15 years and an emotionally deprived daughter for 20 more would probably make her a bit detached. She's probably inexperienced when it comes to "real" relationships. Maybe this was why she and Jacob didn't make it.

I just noticed something. Whenever my comments are replied. The replies from other people make it seem like I'm a worthless moron. Like EVERYTHING I say is stupid beyond all reason. Like every reply is meant to make me feel inferior.

I don't see Miranda doing that, it just seems too domestic for her.  If she tried I think she would fail, badly but only because she would try too hard at making everything perfect.  That said I think she would appreciate a romantic dinner from Shepard.  Actually maybe something like a simple picnic you know bread, cheese, lunch meats and wine on a beautiful garden world would be best ....

She may be a romantic. Sure, she's inexperienced when it comes to serious relationships, but who's to say she doesn't love reading soppy romance novels in secret? Miri may take a lot of pointers from there. She may fail at being romantic, but even if she does, it'll be cute.Posted ImagePosted Image

I'm not sure I think of Miranda as a romantic, precisely. At least not in the textbook sense.
I do believe she can appreciate such gestures, but I've always thought of her as prone to practicality more than anything else.
Of course, her choice of location for the 'love scene' might not mesh with that impression...

This. Still, I'm of the opinion that, while not a romantic herself, she would appreciate the sentiment if Shepard tried to do something romantic.

I don;t see Miranda as being a romantic, nor do i think the traditional dating or romantic experiences would be good enough for her. I imagine this was Jacob's approach to some degree, when they were together (whether or not that's true, that's just how I imagined it).

Of course, an occasional bouquet of roses, or a picnic on a lush, beautiful planet once in a while may be the perfect surprise for Miranda. But I also think she's going t have the pants in the relationship, whether it be M or FemShep.

Ha! Actually I can just see her reading that kind of stuff - claiming to be reading them 'ironically' - and snorting with derision whilst secretly loving them. ^_^

I think in me2 Miranda being romantic or Shepard being overly romantic wouldn't fit in with the character at that point, but in me3 it might.

I never pictured her as romantic or particularly fond of romantic gestures early on in the relationship with shepard but from the point we're at now i picture it differently.
