I'm very close. If Skyrim wasn't so dumbed down I probably would.

Well I play on PC so many of the mods will fix that :-). No custom spells suck though :-(.

Just a way to tell players she's still there. I say if we get her on the team with the scenario mentioned in the spoiler and have her until we get to TIM, it can still be great.

What scenario mentioned in the spoiler? The dialogs with Kai and TIM have also been leaked? LINK ME NAO!!!Image IPBAnd as for having her only till we get to TIM being 'great'...

If I have to suffer the presence of assclowns like Tali and Garrus and not have RanRan on my team to make up for it there will be problems.

I think a more realistic reading suggests that the mission comes very late in the game and that it is meant to tie up all Miranda loose ends, with her main motivation having nothing to do with anything big along the lines of what we've discussed numerous times. But I hope that part is misleading. Still, my honest assessment is that it doesn't look good. Obviously, I will continue to hope for the best.

Miranda's motivation is my main concern here. Sure, it looks like we'll meet her later in the game rather than earlier, but I always expected that. But part of what attracted me to Miranda was her dedication to a cause greater than herself. I hope that remains somewhat intact.

@Errol Dnamyx:
Problems? What problems could you actually make if that happened? I only wish we could....

Somewhat late makes sense, but there are a couple of clues as to when the mission happens, and they both suggest it is very late in the game. However, I will say this: some of that could be misleading, due to the way the data is organized.

My best effort to be optimistic is the following:

This is a skeletal outline of the major plot points. Some of the info is organized, not chronologically, as you would encounter it in the game, but in bunches according to segments of the plot.

The VS and, to a lesser extent, Liara and Vega appear to be the only important squad members because they are the most crucial to the skeletal plot. This makes sense, since they are the ones who can't be dead. Garrus, for example, is almost completely absent (maybe not even mentioned?), but he has never been the most plot-relevant character. So, things like how you add "might be dead" characters to your squad might just be missing from this.

Miranda's mission mentioned here is important to the overall plot, and it's easy to see what the fallback position is if she's dead. So, that might be all we see here due to that being all that is plot-relevant. The mission appears to happen very late in the game because it is tied to the game's finale, so it is bunched with those plot points. But it really happens earlier on, chronologically, and Miranda actually joins you for a significant chunk of the game.

Maybe TIM's scene, which we only get a fragment of here, is actually different if Miranda is around (the fragment we are getting might be from the "Miranda is dead" version).

That's about the best I can do Image IPB

Read through some of the spoilers. I don't how to feel about it. It looks like it's open season on everybody which isn't a surprise. But Miranda maybe worse off than the others. Hopefully her mission isn't timed and outcomes aren't forced.

SPOILERS INCOMING DON'T READ IF THAT CONCERNS YOU

The transcript I read had some decent details on how we would meet Miranda. And a lot of key words (Frankenstien switch, Father's office, horrific reveal, etc). Something to consider. There is also a mission refered to as "Miranda's Mission"

Actually, I'd say about the midpoint. "Cat 2" Catalyst 2. So maybe after the second world once the galaxy opens up. My main concern is her motivation. The Reapers are here and all she can think about is Oriana? But it was foreshadowed and they played fair.

On the upside, the likelihood of the Foundation ending just went through the roof. I do think this is a very stripped down script. At several points, it's implied you have no squad choice at all.

I've added a spoiler warning to the thread. I'm not adding the new info at this time. Just in case.

HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD

To be fair, the "Sanctuary" appears to be a major Cerberus stronghold. Now that Mr. Lawson is back in bed with The Illusive Man, she could be killing two birds with one stone. Track Oriana and cripple Cerberus.
Or, at least, that's what I hope. It might significantly shorten her number of missions but, at least, she wasn't solely focused on personal issues while the Reapers invaded.

Attention... getting spoilery here, I guess there's no point in trying to talk around the info endlessly...

"The Catalyst" appears to be the game's main plot macguffin and a key tool needed to defeat the Reapers. So, "after Cat 2" would be after the 2nd plot development regarding that. It appears to be somewhere in the mid-game at least, as you say.

At least she wasn't involved with Alliance Affairs either. I wouldn't want to see her Arrested.

There's no doubt the the VS and or others will object helping Miri when the time comes. Though Miri is not part of Cerberus anymore, the VS (and/or others) would most likely continue to misjudge her.

For now, I'm sticking with my old theory that Miranda is around for Act 2 for the resolution to the Cerberus plot.

I'm looking at you too Flemm, you said it looked like a worst case scenario -_-

Well, I did attach a whole bunch of caveats to it Image IPB

Because, yeah, we don't really know how it goes. But I think the leak would have to be really misleading or just wrong for Miranda to be around more than a mission or two towards the end of the game. That is possible, but it's looking a bit unlikely.

Emails as a means of re-introducing the character = bad sign, I think.

I'm really disappointed, reactions to the plot leak seem to be negative all over the Internet, here, NeoGAF, Gamefaqs, everywhere I frequent there are people talking about thanking Microsoft for the leak... I'm beginning to think Bioware is gonna really give us another DA2.

Nothing I've read seems that horrible since I think the multiple ways to kill the VS are different versions of the same crisis point.

I don't have all of it, but what I've read does seem interesting. I think people are *far* too hung up on details they don't like. There are some of those for me, too, but if storytelling perfection was my measure for buying games I'd never have started to play.

Or maybe there are just so many details not to like. People swallow too much crap from BioWare imo. ''Oooh... our precious BW wouldn't betray or disappoint us.. Right.... Riiiight!? :?''
