Some of the dialogue/plot is class, however a lot of it is really stupid from design, and no matter what they add it won't make any sense.

However the "Godzilla Fight" doesn't make a lick of sense, but sounds so awesome.

I suppose the million dollar question is "Is that it for Miranda?" Part of me thinks it reads as if she's not on the squad for this mission and we'll be extracting her.

I'm really disappointed, reactions to the plot leak seem to be negative all over the Internet, here, NeoGAF, Gamefaqs, everywhere I frequent there are people talking about thanking Microsoft for the leak... I'm beginning to think Bioware is gonna really give us another DA2.

Alright. First off I'm trying to avoid the spoilers like the plague. Hanging around here isn't helping I know but hey, I've gotten used to it so I'm just trying to feel my way through. In the meantime I'd appreciate some plain answers to the following (if I'm asking for repeat info here, bear with me, I'm only trying to understand while not ruining it for myself):

The leak mentions one mission with Miranda and from that we're deducing temp status, except there's no way to know how long that extends? I'm only concerned with presence and interaction here, don't want to know what she's actually doing. There's no data on interaction and presence is hazy, correct?

The second question is in regards to the above quote and is simply: how bad is it? How much does the outline suck, how big is the negative fan reaction?

Finally does anyone know how good Bioware is about responding to direct communication from fans?

I think BioWare is trying to pull out the tragedy in this one. There's going to be lots of sacrifice this time around. That's all I'm saying.

I skimmed through most of it (the leak), but I didn't see anything about Miranda. What I do know is from a PM which is reliable, but it's still not the source.

Miranda is mentioned only in connection with one mission that sounds very relevant to both the main plot and her LM. No interaction beyond an early-game email is specifically mentioned.

I suppose her content is just missing from the leaked files, because her plot and lines (VA) is still a work in progress. Didn't one of the writers already confirm that she has several scenes?

What I'd like to know is how many "Cat scenes" are there. We could try to situate that one mission.

My guess is it's the equivalent of Therum/Feros/Noveria. So, midpoint.

Several scenes can still take place within the course of one mission. But yes, that follows. I too think there was no info on her because they hadn't finalized it so Miranda-specific content appears to still be in the air. After last night we should consider that a blessing.

My second question still remains. How bad is it overall? And how big is the negative reaction?

Negative reaction is pretty bad, but I found the plot I could piece together more coherent than ME2.

Bad isn't the word I'd use. More like sad. The choices are tough. Really tough if you're especially attached to certain characters.

So I guess that's a good thing...
I guess. <_<

Oh so is the negative reaction merely "boo hoo why did x have to die" where x is a favorite character and this is merely propagated by fanboys of x?

It's a rescue scenario where we meet her near the end of the mission :(

Let's hope that's not all there is to it. In that case I'll ritually torture my ME3 DVD to death. And I'll publicly accuse Mike Gamble of lying.

Some people are cancelling their pre-orders, other are making threads about how great the game will be.
I kept myself as far away from spoilers as possible (except the one pertaining Miranda) so I can't say. However, I've seen some people claim that a lot of major decisions will get invalidated and this is, IMO, the worst Bioware could do.
My hope right now is that the spoilers referred to a single playthrough. Just because someone migth be alive in the leaked info, that doesn't mean that that someone won't be dead in other games.

Nobody mentioned this rumor here, so I guess the Miranda thing false (first post on that page)? I am a bit worried because the other informations seem correct.

I think "rescue" implies a degree of helplessness not necessarily supported by the text. I'm envisioning she's gone there to rip her dad limb from limb.

There is nothing to indicate that in the material I have.

I'd be shocked if it were true. They've already mentioned "several scenes."

If it were true, remember what I said about them being unable to get Strahovski back?

First, seems like I've found the entire leak this time, over at The Escapist Forums.

Second, I'll copy/paste the part about Miranda on Pastebin, if anybody wants to check only that part.

Third, to answer your question about the negative reaction, people are literally thanking Microsoft for the leak, check the threads related to the leak at any major gaming forums, I haven't read the entire leak so I can't judge and the initial reaction is always the worst but it doesn't seem good.

There is one more snippet about Miranda.

That is too bad to be true.
Could anyone with a gamefaq account ask that person where he got the info regarding Miranda?

Well since no one's bothered to correct my last statement I'll assume it's accurate. Which means I can actually breathe a sigh of relief. You know if you think about we're actually among the lucky. There's very little on Miranda from what I understand and what little there is is open to interpretation. I don't know if that means we'll simply be disappointed 4 months from now as opposed to today but at least we can keep some comfort for the time being.

Edit: Saw ViSeirA's post. I am reassured.

At the bottom of the page Roxy linked, there is a link to ALL spoilers. I've checked.
Anyone who doesn't care about getting spoiled could take a look and see what it says about Miranda.
