Well since no one's bothered to correct my last statement I'll assume it's accurate. Which means I can actually breathe a sigh of relief. You know if you think about we're actually among the lucky. There's very little on Miranda from what I understand and what little there is is open to interpretation. I don't know if that means we'll simply be disappointed 4 months from now as opposed to today but at least we can keep some comfort.

Well, from what little skimming I did, seems some decisions (major ones) are gonna be neglected with the same (usually bad) outcome happening either way.

If the latest info is true, it's implied Miranda has one mission only and spends a large chunk of it in distress.

Let's hope that's not all there is to it. In that case I'll ritually torture my ME3 DVD to death. And I'll publicly accuse Mike Gamble of lying. If it's the only mission in the game involving her, then it's probably going to suck awesomely.

I concur with jtav that it does sound a bit like an extraction (i.e. recruitment) mission, which is about the best-case one could infer from this info.

Ok, I just read at least a little bit about the Sanctuary level.
I saw no mention of Miranda. However, the spoiler just jumps all over. In one line it's talking about a spoiler regarding Samara, in the other we're on the Sanctuary (BTW, anyone who tought Pragia was bad has seen nothing yet) and in the next one it's talking about Grunt.

Bottom Line: Miranda fans are basically screwed, since there's also another snippet that contains one MAJOR spoiler and I've opted out of adding it, but it refers to "Miranda's Mission", it sounds exactly as it reads, one mission.

Yeah, I know. Like I said earlier, it doesn't sound good. But, if there's more, it would be because she can join you after that.

"Miranda's mission" could be working title, annotation. Does not imply singular. Could be recruitment as has been stated.

Well, I don't care if she has only one mission, as long as she stays for the majority of the game.
I don't think characters like Garrus, Thane or Jacob have much more personal missions.

I'm looking at it like this, the game hasn't gone gold yet.  As such everything is still subject to change until the studio says that the product is ready to ship. What's there is interesting, but without more of a context as to what is going on in the story I can't really establish an opinion on the story.

Also true, scenarios where she's not squad but still accessible are still possible.

I'm not a Miranda fan, but I can't help but feel sorry for the character and her fans if the leaked info is true.

Honestly I don't know which characters' fans would be happy with this supposed plot. Except maybe the fans of the reapers, or multiplayer.

Well, as some of us have theorized, Mr. Lawson does turn out to be important, and you must go through him to get to TIM. But Miranda's involvement would at this point appear to be limited to being captured by him, then freed by Shepard.

So, it's hard to get too excited about that prospect. Best-case scenario would be that this is only the beginning of Miranda's involvement, but this appears to happen fairly late in the game and there is no trace of anything else Miranda-related.

It's like they read the wishlist and decided to give us the opposite. I say this as someone very fond of the character, but I think I have some SMs to replay.
