I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe this draft is some old **** they threw out after "Miranda in ME3 Support and Discussion" reached page 600.

Or maybe BW is a building full of magnificent bastards anticipating this would happen so that we'd get thrown off the real story and have something to talk about until March.

I think at best it would be the beginning of her involvement. But it doesn't really sound like it. Sounds like that's pretty much it, to be perfectly honest.

I hope that's because there aren't many things told of particular squadmates in this doc, and their involvement will be improved in actual game.

Well, details can change, but conceptually this is probably the basic plan for Miranda's involvement: TIM sells her out to her father, and you end up going to rescue her.

I could see the finished product allowing her a bit more of an active role in the mission, for example. But I don't see the basic concept changing.

Only real positive reading I can see for this is that she joins you at this point, and stays until you meet TIM. The info is definitely fragmentary. So, I suppose it's possible. But that's probably wishful thinking.

Nobody, rather write her off the game in that case. She wouldn't be Miri, if her voice changed.

But really, I think you guys are being too pessimistic (and I feel really weird saying that since I usually see worst-case). How much unused crap can we find in the first two games, entire scenes that went differently or never happened, huge dialogues etc? Things can still change, for better or worse.

Spoiler Incoming

For what it is worth the romance cut-scene[3155] seems to happen after we rescue Miranda[2517]. And the cut scene is right before we storm Cerberus' main base.

Well I assume they all trigger at the same time. That is how it was in Mass Effect and 2 right? You do x and then whomever you romanced confronts you.

Anyway, Some other romance cut scenes might take place then, but at this point there's no real reason to believe Miranda will be around at that point. Unless she is in fact recruitable after her mission and that is just missing from the leak. To be fair, some stuff like that must be missing from the leak (like Garrus being recruitable).

uhm, i read the extended spoilers and i didnt get half of what you guys are deducing from the exact same info. I think its time that people took a deep breath and actually look at how superficial the description is for pretty much everything in the spoilers. So i think reading this much into it is a big mistake, and it seems like people here only egg on eachother causing even more wild speculation and rage.

Well I was just assuming, trying to be a little positive, but I would bet on them all being at the same time. It is easy design after all.

Well when a particular character hasn't had maybe but two lines said about her. And then you get absolutely nothing positive in the leak that we weren't suppose to see. It raises some flags. I don't think it is irrational.

I disagree, Bioware created Miranda not Strahovski... maybe Strahovski is perfect for the role, maybe we got used to her but anyone from Scarlett Johansson to Emmanuelle Vaugier could do Miranda justice.

Even my damaged faith in BioWare doesn't accept such scenario. I can see romance scenes happening in different time according to when LI will be available by plot, but completely ignoring several of them? Not going to happen.
