She may be a romantic. Sure, she's inexperienced when it comes to serious relationships, but who's to say she doesn't love reading soppy romance novels in secret? Miri may take a lot of pointers from there. She may fail at being romantic, but even if she does, it'll be cute.Posted ImagePosted Image

Ha! Actually I can just see her reading that kind of stuff - claiming to be reading them 'ironically' - and snorting with derision whilst secretly loving them. ^_^

That would like, bring out the ultimate mansquee out of me. Posted Image

I don't think she's traditionally romantic, but I think she's more than capable of grand gestures.

Hmmmm.... This might be a stupid question, but what if Miri and Shep in ME3 were to have a Romantic Relationship similar to what Sarah and Chuck have between them in the show Chuck?

Quite frankly the conflation of Sarah and Miranda is my beserk button. They are very different. And I don't like Chuck.

Sarah and Miranda are two different characters, but there are similarities.
And I think Sarah's behavior during the beginning of her relationship with Chuck could be very similar to Miranda's behavior. I like how she's not comfortable with the girly things and the typical couple life.

Hmm, there's the way both of them try to push Shepard/Chuck away at first due to work, altough for very different reasons. Am I forgetting another similarity?
Overrall, Miranda and Shepard are simply stronger persons placed in much harsher conditions.

Yeah there are other ones : both are no saints, they are both very competent, professional and badass spy, they are not talking about personal things with people easily ... I have not the complete list in my mind, but even if they are very different about certain things, I recall making comparaisons between the two characters regulary when I was watching Chuck episodes, especially during season 3 and 4.

Yeah, there are some similarities, not sure how it matters though. As much as I love both of them, they both still belong to their own worlds and have little impact on eachother.

As long as Sarah is not a brunette, wearing high heels, black leather suit, enjoying a good suicide mission .... wait
:P

But yeah I agree, they both belong to their own world. And I'm glad it's the case, because it makes two worlds to enjoy rather than one :)

btw, awesome avatar

"Tali will be able to join your team, but nothing's permanent in #ME3 - it's a story of full-scale war, with lots of twists."

So...what does this mean...?

Part of me thinks squadmates will rotate in and out of our crew

Another part of me thinks hes using the word permanent to describe the game (ie: not linear) and weasel his way out of truly answering the question...

It just means that Tali won't be in the team during all the game, but there is no informations about the proportion of her presence and her absence in the team.

I still hope that Miranda will be a squadmate during the major part of the game.

Hmm. It appears I'm coming back for the most interesting tidbit of information of the week. Nothing is permanent appears to mean no one is permanently on the team as well, unless CH was deliberately misleading.

As long as it's truly no one, no exceptions for the likes of Liara and the VS, I'm fine with it.

It also appears that my scenario of characters getting in and out of the team based on our decisions may come to pass.

Now there's only one thing missing: That he says about Miranda what he says about Tali: that she'll be able to join our team.

How would THAT tweet work with this then?:

.@Jexx21 Love interests won't all necessarily be permanent squad members in #ME3 . Interesting new things happening in that area.

And now he says this:

"Tali will be able to join your team, but nothing's permanent in #ME3 - it's a story of full-scale war, with lots of twists."

Part of me thinks he might be deliberately misleading, although this could mean an announcement is coming soon-ish (Comic-Con? Gamescon?).  Think of it this way, he hasn't responded like this to someone asking if X will be a permanent squadmate before...
