Why should I post a Miranda picture at the moment? ME2's hypercompetent operative is gone, reduced to a shadow of what she might have been.

Proof? Of course there's no proof. But both past experiences and the absence of evidence that should be there count, even they're not conclusive.CrutchCricket wrote...

Proof?
Also I see at least 2 fallacies in your implied argument that anything Priestly says as a rumor will come true.
Except it didn't cheer me up.But as to why post a picture: EDIT:

Can someone toss me a message (so as to avoid spoilers for those who do not want them) about what happened to Miranda?

But believing in something requires some evidence that it is actually there.

I just don't understand it. We've had our disagreements here, some of them almost violent, but the one thing *everyone* here wanted was a powerful Miranda who could hold her own, had her own initiative and walk at Shepard's side.
This feels like a deliberate kick in the face from the Bioware writers.

Your own words Ieldra. If believing Miranda is the center of the galaxy requires proof, why should believing she's wasted be any different? There is no proof. There are only stick figures on a rough draft God knows how old. It's not a question of balancing good from bad because there wasn't supposed to be any good or bad.
Look I'm trying to be as exacting in my logic as I can. Clearly people on the internet can be convinced by logic no more than those in real life. Obviously there are some emotional responses here that won't be chased away by any arguments. All I can say is I spent most of today working it out for myself and trying to help others on here do the same. Do you think I slept any easier after discovering the leak last night? I woke up determined to start lobbying Bioware to push back the release date so they can get it right (mind you I was concerned about the overall plot as well not just Miranda and I fully knew how slim my chances were). But as I worked through what was there and only what was there I realized that all the doom and panic was just that. The conclusion is simple:
No, Miranda is not set in stone as email-email-rescue-credits-cake.
No, Bioware is not out to get us.
No, they did not RUIN IT FOREVER
Yes, some clueless dolt at Microsoft clicked the wrong button and sent us some stick figures.
Yes, Mass Effect 3 might hold its share of disappointments but these shares are not as inevitable as the sun rising.
Now for everyone, whether you want to continue with your gloomy emotions or not is ultimately up to you. But know that there are arguments that can give you hope if you let them.

Shepard's struggle for the survival of the human race can be paralleled with our uphill battle to get Miranda a decent amount of quality exposure.
