Elyvern's comment was meant to point at the possibility of a miracle pregnancy, not about being emotional or not.
Miracle pregnancy =

Miracle pregnancy =I want Miranda's infertility gone, but by a medical procedure or scientific advance, not by Shepard's super sperm.

Don't want a forced pregnancy or a miracle one. Personally i want dialogue to influence the future direction of the relationship. Then those that want to play happy family's can and those that don't can avoid it.

What I want most is an option where Miranda continues to use her gifts for humanity's scientific and technological advancement. That's not incompatible with having a family. What I'd dislike most is a "retreat to family life" scenario.

If it were a combo of both Shep's Super Sperm and Miri responding to fertility treatments...

Oh yeah that only works if its by her own hand and work overcoming the infertility that was a given in any of my head cannons when the childern and her come up. Matter of fact that whole character direction can't work unless she over comes the infertility through her own work.
anything else = WTF
I still believe it would be a deliecious and wonder **** you to her father on so many levels it may very well bring a tear to my eye.

I also told you so.
Many thanks Vertigo for the information you unearthed. What little there is is enough for me to assure myself Miranda's part in ME3 will be stellar. As for everybody else, this is why we don't overreact, because there is always more to something than meets the eye /cornyoptimusprimequote
The team behind Mass Effect has always had a great track record so we should put a little more faith in them than we have shown the past couple days. With or without the info Vertigo brought us. It helps to be optimistic. Cautiously optimistic.
Now, I have class soon. Hope you all have a pleasant day and reap the good news Vertigo has brought you (PAGE 806 for those who missed it).

Don't bang it, if you don't want it to happen, simple. Dem babiez have to happen, else life is boaring and meaningless.

As a player/writer, I will move heaven and Earth to make her happy. She can have a dozen if she wants. As Shepard, I don't want to be father.

About Miranda's pregnancy, let me put it this way:

No Shepard Jr./Miranda II? But think of the early morning calisthenics and weapons/ordinance training... who will Shep have to fistbump when things go BOOM?

In all seriousness, I don't want children and I want my avatar reflecting that. Jacob/Kaidan/random guy can be the father.

Im not sure i understand her motivation. Does she just want a kid no mather the father? which makes little sense to me, considering she usually doesnt settle for anything but the best. Or is there some underlying thing im missing here.

Well, I certainly hope she'll get over that. Her father treated her like sh*t, but he also gave her priceless gifts.jtav wrote...
It seems she wanted a healthy sperm donor
and had issues up to here with anything but natural conception thanks to
her origins.
Now I'm thinking of Miranda finding more clone "sisters" in her father's labs and adopting them.

Not quite, I like the symbolism of Miranda being able to pass on her gifts. I could live with it being Oriana, but I dislike the implication that the Lawson sisters are all infertile.naledgeborn wrote...
^ That would be ideal.
Though admittedly from a storytelling point of view, it would be very appropriate.

Not to mention, it would fit right along with her loyality mission storyline...in that she is doing the samething fro them she did with Oriana...except only she is actually taking care of them( her other sisters) this time.
