I think our best bet is to push for one or two very specific things and keep pushing.

Agreed.
To my mind, those things are...
At least one more mission where Miranda's connection to Cerberus is exploited. Ideally it would also provide closure to her relationship with TIM.
A full romance arc, with a romance scene.
Maximum presence and impact in the endgame.
Also, as you've said elsewhere, I really don't want to meet her in a cell. She should be active.

As Flemm and others have rightly put it, probably the key aspect is the connection to cerberus and the confrontation or involvement in the mission with TIM, if this alone was adressed Miranda's role becomes more fitting both with her character and with the storyline itself in general.
Things like an ending romance scene or full close to the romance arc i actually do believe we'll get not just for her character but for all the me2 specific characters (barring the one or two were it involves changing too many specifics).
I doubt we'll get a change to the way we'll meet her though, simply because Shepard has to be the saviour its almost been ingrained in the series from the beginning and i could probably live with it, if the TIm/Cerberus thing was more fleshed out.
As it is miranda kinda gets a little more of a proper role than any of the me2 specific characters (with her conversations with Shepard) so for me i think if we really want to aim for the most achievable goal, it may be wise to almost emphasise the Cerberus/Tim part since imo fixing that changes the game almost completely.

-Banter between Miranda and the other squadmates
-A romance scene
-A role not restricted to the final parts of the game.
And now for something completely different.:
Shepard: (lobbing a grenade) What the hell is that!
Miranda: (slamming a Cerberus trooper into the ground) Atlas mech! Standard issue for Cerberus assault squads!
Shepard: If it's standard issue why didn't we have a giant robot? I'm pretty sure that would have come in handy!
Miranda: The Illusive Man wanted to cut back on luxuries!
Shepard: So leather seats, a giant fish tank, and a fully stocked bar are fine, but a giant killer robot is a luxury?
Miranda: (sighs) Look, if you don't go and break this one you can keep it, alright?
Shepard: (reloading pistol) You're the best girlfriend ever!
Miranda: I try. (muttering under her breath) Like a bloody ten year-old sometimes.

For example if a charachter's VA has already made recordings that would make the changes more difficult. For Miranda that is not the case and she must be one of the few who still have not had their recordings made. So changes in her role, dialogue and status can be made i believe more easily, without altering the dates of the game.
That is why we must push for the increase in screentime and recruitability starting from now...

Guys i believe we (like i stated before) that we should express (in a civilized manner) our disappointment at what we have surmised from the leaks so far, namely Miranda's limited screentime.
Well, I think we should, too. It can't hurt. Tweeting the devs is easy. We can't be too specific in that setting, but we can ask for more Miranda in ME3 and reference this thread as a place to find ideas (you can actually link the thread in your tweet).
Pushing for more screen time in general is good because it would allow the devs to add whatever they think works with the story overall. Even with the leak we can't be sure what is feasible.
Specific ideas are also good, because it gives them an idea of what we want.

Too bad the devs are only on Twitter. Otherwise I'd spam their facebooks already.
Well, there is a facebook page for Bioware, I think. Not suggesting you spam it, but there's nothing wrong with leaving a bit of feedback there.

Well, I was thinking a bit more... constructive than that
For example, if you are disappointed with Miranda's apparent role in the game, you could say that.

Agreed. Basically, just saying we want more Miranda in ME3 is the place to start. We can reference the thread and put our more specific suggestions here.

I can't really disagree. But yes, it appears there is only one.

Perhaps all of you are jumping to conclusions? Insulting Bioware really isnt warranted. Perhaps AFTER ME3 comes out maybe.JosephDucreux wrote...

I know, I'll just reserve that for AFTER ME3, should it prove to be unsatisfactory. But for now I'll hover around them.

Like Liara's LotSB mission?
Hmm, fine in my eyes, but I'm not a die-hard-Miri fan. Like her. And if I can get her for most of the game, I'll pick her over most of the other cast.
