This. Both of the women are bit the type, who can easily live their lives without Shepard. They're independent and strong. They don't need a hero in their lives.

I hope to get some acknowledgement that Liara and Miranda knew each other before Illium and an explanation for why they didn't say anything about it (I'm guessing because Liara was trying to avoid telling Shep about her involvement with Cerberus). I was quite surprised by Miranda and Liara's interaction in Redemption, Miranda was actually nicer to Liara than she initially was to Shep. So I would imagine they'd get on in ME3.

You must have missed my post of yesterday. Banter between Ashley and Miranda would be epic, especially since their differences go far beyond being possible rivals in the romance. Liara / Miranda banter has much less potential.

I agree witht hsi 100%. It seems that the Alliance is what puts names forward for Spectre candidacy, though, nd since Miranda is an overt Cerberus operataive, a high up one, at that, I doubt she would be nominated for Spectre candidacy.

And as for potential rivalry between Miranda and Liara or Miranda and Ashley, I do not want to see a catfight scene or a jealous rivalry scene.  Hopefully Bw writers will come up with more classy ways of dealing with those relationships.

Less epic, but it'll be nice to see two female characters who aren't at odds and I'll be listening with great interest.

I personally fear, that BioWare might go out of their way to bring us those catfights. So many guys seem to be having weird fantasies of having two gals fight over for them. Though I don't personally care, there's no exs in my Shepard's past, well maybe before events of ME1, but not after that.

Miri is the one and only.

A 'catfight' would feel awkward and wrong especially for a woman as professional as Miranda. I really don't want to see that.

Because I don't trust then not to go the catfight/sniping route. It won't exist for me.

Yeah, I just hope they'd make it as something, that's completely addiotional, off the beaten path. I don't want to notice, that something is missing, just because I didn't have any previous LIs. Sure I'd ''miss'' the fight and all, but I don't want the whole interaction between two possible ''catfighters'' to be built with the impending fight in mind.

All I see them doing is having the confrontation like the one in ME1 plus some remarks here and there (banter)
Once it's done it's done, no need to drag it on further than that...

Besides there are bigger problems at hand

I know this isn't the best thread for this but I have a question many could answer swiftly.

My first play through I didn't care if everybody lived but this second time I was going for the achievement where all survived and I could have sworn I did everything right but Mordin and Jack bit the dust.

I chose Legion for the vents, Garrus to lead the decoy squad. Sent Grunt back with the survivors, picked Samara for the biotic barrier and Jacob to lead the team to hold the line. Basically exactly what IGN told to do in the walkthrough. What did I do wrong?

Oh, and I wouldn't be against the idea of a f/f romance option with Miranda IF a player hadn't romanced her with a male Shep in the ME2. Though who would do that right?

I guess you shouldn't let Jacob be leader of the combat group. Basically, there is Miranda and Garrus who are well received squadleaders. Keep in mind that there is not only positive commentary by your Crewmembers about Jacob. He lacks the respect of some of the crew members like Jack or Samara. If you haven't had Garrus or Miri beside you at the final battle, you really should make them to the leader. Beside that, why do send Grunt back to the ship if he is one of your finest soldier in the field, i.e. he is almost predestined to be in the defence of the line.

Jacob can also lead the decoy/combat groups. The mistake was sending Grunt (excellent "hold the line" character) back with Chakwas and co. Especially if you also took Garrus or Zaeed with you to fight the humanoid Reaper. You should always sent your squishiest character (Mordin or Tali) back to the Normandy and leave heavy weights like Grunt, Garrus, Zaeed or Jacob to hold the line.

I only posted this since I'm hoping Miranda's hair looks better in ME3; not that it doesn't look nice now.
